The purpose of this assignment is to give you hands-on practice. It is expected that students

Lectures Covered
After completing the assignment, the student will be able to explain the practical importance of
software design, specifically the entity relationship diagram.
Scenario
Consider (CRM) system focuses on managing customer and employee interactions. The system
encapsulates several entities, each serving a distinct role and incorporating various components,
including the representation of individuals, termed "Customers," engaging with the company.
Customers play an important role in the system that places orders. Each customer can place
multiple orders and each order can have multiple products. The system also tracks the company's
workforce through the "Employee" and tracks the employees and customer interactions.
Employees and customers can engage in multiple interactions, facilitating a comprehensive view
of engagement dynamics. Different relationships demonstrate the dynamics of customer
relationships, order fulfilment, and employee interactions within the CRM system.

Students are required to analyze the given scenario and identify important entities, their attributes
and the relationships between entities. Cleary specify relationship types (one-to-one, one-to-
many, many-to-many) that may exist between entities according to the given scenario. Submit
your work and ensure clarity in indicating the relationships, attributes and relevant details as
shown in sample Table 1.
