COVID, FIITJEE Fee policy
and help for the affected
families – FAQs
1. What discount or fee benefit has FIITJEE extended to students / parents?

We could foresee in November 2019 how COVID may affect the lives of people physically,

emotionally and financially. We rolled back the 10% increase in fee. Further we have

not increased the fee next year and also not increased the fee this year. This means

our fee should have been 33% higher than what it is today if COVID was not there.

Or we can say the fee being charged from students is after a discount of ~24.8%.

2. Now since you are teaching online, your costs must be much lower.
Therefore, FIITJEE Fee must be much lower.

From Offline (in classroom) to Online, the only difference is classroom infrastructure.

We cannot do away with classroom infrastructure as Offline classes will start if not

this year then next year. Since online classes cannot compare with the offline classes

in effectiveness in learning, we need to be ready with infrastructure all the time.

Whenever the situation is near normal, we will start in person classes.

Besides, in case of online classes the time devoted by the teachers is almost double

of offline classes. Therefore, our cost of services has increased significantly in case of

online classes. We could have doubled the tuition fee to meet the increased expenses

but we have not done so. Further, as written above we have not increased our fee

for three sessions continuously. Overall, this is 50% savings for every student.

3. What support are you giving to students who have lost earning parents?

FIITJEE is committed to support the students who have lost their parent(s) to the

COVID-19 pandemic. Following are the benefits / concessions, in consonance with the

respective situation given below

Situation 1 : Student who has lost both the parents due to COVID-19 after March 2020 or

lost the only parent (other parent had earlier passed away or in case of a single parent).

1. 100% fee waiver on all FIITJEE fees, study material fees (by Megacosm) & myPAT fees.

2. One-time Administration Fee of Rs. 5,000 only to be paid by the student at the time

of admission.

3. Student will be required to procure the Tablet or laptop if not available, as specified

by the Company and pay MDM fee if applicable, while the implementation charges

shall be waived off.

Situation 2 : Student who has lost one parent who was the sole earning member, but the

other parent is still alive.

1. Only Admission fee is to be paid at the time of Admission (as per the respective fee

structure).

2. 100% fee waiver on all the other fee heads of FIITJEE fees, study material fees (by

Megacosm) & myPAT fees.

3. Student will be required to procure the Tablet or laptop if not available, as specified

by the Company and pay MDM fee if applicable, while the implementation charges

shall be waived off.

Situation 3 : Student who has lost one parent who was an earning member, but the other

parent is still alive and is also earning.

1. 100% waiver on Tuition fee only.

2. All other fees are to be paid as per the respective fee structure.

3. Student will be required to procure the Tablet or laptop if not available, as specified

by the Company and pay MDM fee if applicable, while the implementation charges

shall be waived off.

Situation 4 : Student who has lost one parent who was not earning

1. 35% wavier on Tuition fee only.

2. All other fees are to be paid as per the respective fee structure.

3. Student will be required to procure the Tablet or laptop if not available, as specified

by the Company and pay MDM fee if applicable, while the implementation charges

shall be waived off.

 Term & Conditions
Note 1 : Students going to Class IX, X, XI & XII must appear in both Papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2) to become eligible for Cash Scholarships / Program
Fee Waivers. Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs will be decided on the basis of section wise performance (Both Papers
are divided into 4-5 sections, each section having questions of particular difficulty level) and combined performance in Paper 1 & Paper 2. Every
Section will have predefined time to answer the questions. To avail Scholarship, one has to clear minimum cut-off marks in each section of the
Paper besides the Total Score. A Student has to appear in both Papers in order to be considered for selection.

In case of extraordinary performance in any section, student may get up-graded scholarships, provided total marks is above the threshold limit.

Note 2 : For Students going to Class IX & X - If the Total marks scored by two or more students are same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the
Student who has scored higher in Mathematics. If marks obtained in Mathematics are same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the Student
who has scored higher in Physics. If marks obtained in Physics are also same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the Student who has scored
higher in Chemistry. If marks obtained in Chemistry are also same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the Student who has scored higher in
Aptitude Test. If marks obtained in Aptitude Test are also same, then same Rank will be assigned to all students.

For Students going to Class XI & XII - If the Total marks scored by two or more students are same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the

Student who has scored higher in Mathematics. If marks obtained in Mathematics are same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the Student
who has scored higher in Physics. If marks obtained in Physics are also same, then higher Rank will be assigned to the Student who has scored
higher in Chemistry. If marks obtained in Chemistry are also same, then same Rank will be assigned to all students.

How will Cash Scholarship be calculated if more than one Student secure the same Rank ?

If Rank 1 has been awarded to two Students, then the total scholarship amount of Rank 1 & Rank 2 will be equally divided between both the
Students.

What will be the next best Rank, if more than one Student secure the same Rank ?

If Rank 1 has been awarded to two Students, then the next best Rank will be determined as Rank 3.

Note 3 : The final discretion of awarding the Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE programs in each case will remain with FIITJEE management
and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate.
Note 4 : To get the Cash Scholarship, Fee Waivers & other benefits related to FTRE - 2021, one has to enrol in any one of these FIITJEE programs
from 8th January to 19th February, 2022 (as per the class wise enrolment dates) :

For Students going to Class XII (in 2022) : Students joining One Year Classroom Program / e-One Year Live Online Classroom Program for

JEE Main & Advanced will get Cash Scholarship in 4 equal quarterly instalments (between April 2022 to May 2023).
Note 6 : Minimum attendance of 90% and relative good performance in Phase Tests during the course will be a criterion to be eligible for the continuity of
disbursement of quarterly Cash Scholarship. The final discretion in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding
on the candidate.
Note 7 : Cash Scholarships will be paid to Students through a crossed cheque and shall be in favour of the Student only.
Note 8 : Fee Waivers for FIITJEE programs are valid for the select programs mentioned in Note 4.
Note 9 : FIITJEE Students already enrolled in Classroom / Integrated Program can appear in FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam to find out their current level
of preparation and their projected Rank in JEE Main & Advanced / Other Competitive Entrance Examinations. We are already committed to these
Students in giving our complete support at any point of their preparation. FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam is only for giving the feedback to their
preparation and no Scholarships / Fee Waivers will be awarded to such Students. However, FIITJEE Students will be entitled for rewards as per
their actual performance in JEE Main & Advanced, Olympiads, KVPY, XII Board, NTSE & Jr. Olympiad.
Note 10 : Students presently in Class X & enrolled (with an exit option after Class X) at FIITJEE in Four Year / Three Year Classroom Program can join (if
selected) Two Year Classroom Program / PINNACLE - Two Year Integrated Program / PANINI - Two Year Integrated Program / e-PANINI - Two
Year Live Online Classroom Program / e-Two Year Live Online Classroom Program for JEE Main & Advanced, 2024 through this test. However,
they will not be entitled for any cash scholarships & fee waivers offered through this test.
Note 11 : Students going to Class IX in 2022 and enrolled at FIITJEE in UDAYA - Classroom Programs can register as a FIITJEE Student and they are
entitled to the benefits of FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam on selection & joining any one of these programs (a) SUPREME - Four Year Integrated
Program for JEE Main & Advanced, 2026 ; (b) RAMANUJAN - Four Year Integrated for JEE Main & Advanced, 2026 ; (c) Four Year Classroom

Note 12 : FIITJEE Rankers Study Material (RSM), Computer Based All India Test Series (AITS) & Jr. Rankers Study Material (JRSM) Students joining
a FIITJEE Classroom / Integrated / Live Online Classroom Program will be entitled for Fee waivers offered through this Exam. The course fee
already paid for the current Program will not be adjusted or refunded.
Note 13 : Any Student studying at FIITJEE can avail only one scholarship (including Cash Scholarships awarded through FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam
etc.) during his / her entire academic session of the program he / she joins at FIITJEE. Once a Student enrols in a FIITJEE Program through
FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam / Financial Assistance Eligibility Test etc. and he / she reappears in any future FIITJEE’s Test then he / she will
not be eligible to claim any Scholarship through the latter Test. However, Scholarship based on Scholastic Achievement in KVPY / Olympiads /
NTSE / MVPP / MTSE / SSTSE / X Board / XII Board will remain applicable, but the Student can only claim the Scholarship higher amongst the
two - i.e. either the Scholarship based on FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam / Financial Assistance Eligibility Test etc. OR the Scholarship based on
Scholastic Achievement (already availed scholarship amount will be deducted from the same).
Note 14 (a): The registered office of FIITJEE is at New Delhi. All disputes and differences of any nature whatsoever shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator
appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration
and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The award of the Arbitrator shall be final & binding. It is
further agreed that in spite of the fact that the Sole Arbitrator may be known to any of the Directors or shareholders or may have been appointed
as an arbitrator earlier by the company shall not disqualify him. Even if the Arbitrator may have expressed an opinion in a similar matter earlier
shall also not render him disqualified. The seat of the Arbitration will be New Delhi / Delhi.
Note 14 (b): Subject to Note 14 (a) hereinabove, the exclusive Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in New Delhi / Delhi Courts only.

General Terms & Conditions

Note 1 : If a Student appears in FIITJEE Financial Assistance Eligibility test (including FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam) for the second time, Scholarship if
awarded, in the latter test will be scaled down by one slab so that he / she does not have any undue advantage over a fresh Student appearing
for the first time.
Note 2 : FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any program, eligibility criterion, and course fee without prior notice.

If a Student scores zero or negative marks in any subject of any paper,

then Scholarship (fee waivers) awarded will be scaled down by one slab.

For Students going to Class XI i.e. Aspirants of JEE Main & Advanced, 2024

Taking forward the initiative of helping the economically underprivileged to a larger level, in the year 2008, FIITJEE
constituted FORTUNATE 40.
It is a program aimed to provide World-Class training to serious Students from financially weaker backgrounds to achieve their
goal of success & Top Ranks in JEE Main / JEE Advanced and Other Competitive Exams.
The program will financially support capable Students going to Class IX & XI in 2022 whose total household income is less than
Rs. 10,000/- per month. FIITJEE will support these meritorious Students in their preparation for achieving their dream goal by
awarding 100% scholarships for FIITJEE programs & 100% waivers on hostel charges. For Integrated Program the school fee will
be charged from the Student (at some locations scholarship on school fee may also be awarded).
The FORTUNATE 40 batch for each program, at each location, will have a maximum of 40 Students only. Students will have to appear
for a selection test on 6th February, 2022. To be eligible for the FORTUNATE 40 batch, Students have to clear the individual subject
cut-offs & also the grand total cut-off. Selected Students will be notified and admitted to the program with 100% scholarships.

Enhancing IQ and Raising Competition

Cult Metamorphosis Test (CMT) - Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (MPC) and MAT, English,
Biology, Social Studies & Computer Science (MEBSCOM)

Our weekly objective test (based on micro-scheduled teaching during that week) helps children in continual learning
and grading where the child is not burdened just before the exam to learn many things.

Thus a Student in FIITJEE World School is NEVER unhappy or tensed about any exam as learning is a constant
UPGRADING, ENRICHING, and ENTHRALLING experience.

Formative Assessment (FA)

This is our month end exam which is based on the month long learning of the child in different subjects.
This is a Subjective Paper designed to hone the writing skills of the child.

Visual and Performing Arts as a medium of Relaxation

Arts of different mediums in our Schools (Painting, Music, Dance) is for relaxation so that they improve Students’
classroom performance. They are forms of giving an output to their parallel medium of communication.

Games like Spell-O and Chess are introduced to keep their

concentration sharp

On an everyday basis we have Yoga and Meditation classes which

helps children to relax and concentrate better in their classes

Inter-House Competitions

The Schools are divided into four houses wherein, at regular intervals,
competitions like Debates, Declamation, Quiz, Dancing, Singing,

FIITJEE Centres FACILITY
provide furnished
FIITJEE has furnished hostel / lodging & boarding facility at the

Boarding & Lodging following FIITJEE centres viz. Delhi (South Delhi, North-West Delhi,
East Delhi & Dwarka Centres), Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhilai, Bhopal,
facility to all Bhubaneswar, Bokaro, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore,
Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Vijayawada &
out-station Visakhapatnam which is available for MALE STUDENTS only, on the
basis of merit. The hostel expenditure to be borne by the Student
Students joining is approximately Rs. 6,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- per month on double
occupancy basis and varies from one hostel to another and city to
FIITJEE’s Classroom city. Expenses are subject to revision as and when required without
prior notice. FIITJEE also has hostel / lodging & boarding facility for
Programs.
FEMALE STUDENTS at select FIITJEE centres. Appropriate assistance
may be provided in locating paying guest accommodation for FEMALE
STUDENTS at other locations.

Students desirous of availing hostel facility are required to deposit

a sum of Rs. 7,500/- as refundable* security deposit along with two
months expenses in advance at the time of joining. Those desiring to
share the initial burden can opt for the option of depositing the two
months advance expenses for the last two months up to 60 days after
joining depending upon the program they are joining. Two months
advance will be adjusted in the last two months (March & April or April
& May) of the course completion year.

*Subject to terms & conditions and will be refunded by 15th July of the
course completion year.

Note 1 : FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any program, eligibility
criterion & course fee without prior notice.

Note 2 : The registered office of FIITJEE is at New Delhi. All disputes and
differences of any nature whatsoever shall be referred to the Sole
Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The
Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with
the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and
Statutory modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The
award of the Arbitrator shall be final & binding. It is further agreed
that in spite of the fact that the Sole Arbitrator may be known to
any of the Directors or shareholders or may have been appointed
as an arbitrator earlier by the company shall not disqualify him.
Even if the Arbitrator may have expressed an opinion in a similar
matter earlier shall also not render him disqualified. The seat of the
Arbitration will be New Delhi / Delhi.
