نسخة من Control Tutorial 1

This document provides a tutorial on the Laplace transform. It begins with an introduction to how Laplace transforms are used to transform differential equations from the time domain to the s-domain for easier manipulation. Tables are then presented listing common functions and their corresponding Laplace transforms. Examples are worked through applying Laplace transform properties and the inverse Laplace transform to solve differential equations.

Tutorial #1
Laplace Transform

Dr. Ayman A. El-Badawy

Department of Mechanical Engineering
Al-Azhar University

Laplace Transform
• Our system is modeled by a differential equation or a
set of differential equations
• We use Laplace transform to transform these equations
from the time domain into another domain “S - Domain”
to make the manipulation of these equations easier.
