Event Summary:
The Soft Skills Training for Prefinal-year IT students, conducted by the staffs of

the information technology department, a comprehensive sift skill training program in

preparation for the upcoming on-campus placement drive. The event's goal was to equip

students with essential soft skills crucial for succeeding in interviews, effective

communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and polished presentation techniques.

Through interactive role-playing exercises, students had the opportunity to improve their

verbal and non-verbal communication skills. The training's ultimate aim was to boost

students' self-assurance and employability, enabling them to excel in interviews and

thrive in their future professional endeavors.


2 – DAYS SOFT SKILL TRAINING
On August 2023, a 2-day Soft Skills Training was conducted for the
PreFinal Year IT students. Organized by the Department of Placement and
Training the training, the training aimed to equip students with essential soft
skills that are crucial for succeeding in interviews and professional settings. The
training began with an emphasis on enhancing interpersonal skills, life skills,
corporate etiquette, and resume building. The training led through the way on
honing students' Technical and non- technical practice, mini projects. Emphasis
was placed on articulating ideas coherently and professionally.
TRAINING OUTCOME
 The soft skills training conducted by the Department staffs proved to be a
resounding success, receiving positive feedback from both students and
faculty.
 The students showed significant improvement in their communication
abilities, self-confidence, and overall employability.
 Students were coached on interview etiquette, how to handle common
interview questions, and strategies to present themselves as strong candidates
for potential employers.
 The training sought to improve students' ability to work collaboratively, adapt
to diverse environments, and build positive relationships with colleagues and
superiors.
 With the enhanced soft skills gained from this program, the students are now
better prepared to excel in the forthcoming on-campus placement drive and
future professional endeavors.
 The Department looks forward to continuing such initiatives to empower
students and foster their holistic development.
 By the end of the training, students exhibited noticeable improvements in their
interpersonal skills, behavioral traits, and overall confidence.
