ANCHORING SCRIPT (INDEPENDENCE DAY 2023)

Introduction:
“To be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and
enhances the freedom of others.”

Good morning, one and all present here! Honourable Principal in charge Padmaja Nanda
ma’am, respected Head Master in charge M.C. Behera sir, revered teachers, my juniors and
my dear friends. I, Glory, extend my heartfelt greetings to all of you on this momentous
occasion. Today, we gather here to commemorate the 77th Independence Day of India, a
day that fills our hearts with pride and honour.
Flag Hoisting:
To begin this auspicious celebration, let us stand tall and united as we prepare ourselves for
the unfurling of the tricolour, the symbol of our nation's freedom. I request honourable
Principal in charge Padmaja ma’am, to kindly come forward and hoist the national flag, and
may we all rise to sing the national anthem in unison. Ma’am, please.

This day marks the dawn of a new era, when India embarked on a journey of self-
governance, democracy, and equality for all its citizens. So here we have Unnati Behera of
class V to express her thoughts on this special occasion.

as a sovereign nation. To share some insights and inspiration, we have with us Smruti Sneha
Samal to share her thoughts about India's independence and the role of citizens in shaping
the nation's future.

Patriotic Dance:
Patriotism leads to peace and peace leads to prosperity. Yes, this is the plan we have as
future generation, for a progressive nation and to depict that in a colourful, musical and
scintillating manner, I welcome the dancers on stage who will portray a performance with
the patriotic fervour.

करें इस पावन नतरं गे के नीचे , नमन करें उन शहीदों को , अतीत की पन्नो पर भारत के भववष्य को मलखे
। इन पंजक्तयों के साथ समाप्त करना चाहं गी ।
