1. What are the key concepts that you have learned in this session?
Microsoft Word can be a powerful tool for educators and students alike. The Speaker let us explore the different
features of MS Word which some are already familiar to me. I believe that by experimenting with different features and
functions to become proficient in MS Word. Don't be afraid to explore the software and consult online resources or
tutorials.

2. How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of education?
Integrating MS Word into education not only helps students develop essential skills but also prepares them
for real-world scenarios where word processing is a fundamental skill. Additionally, I can enhance my
teaching materials and administrative tasks, making my work more efficient and effective and by mastering
the tips and tricks mentioned by the speaker, I can become more efficient and proficient in using Microsoft
Word for a wide range of tasks and documents.

3. Make a summary of the session either in paragraph or bullet form.


 Microsoft word processor software developed by Microsoft in 1983. It is the most used word
processor software.
 Tips for Research is to use heading 1 style for primary headings.
 File menu – collaboration, look for authors/add new contacts.
 Set up page margins, orientation, and size as needed. Use sections and breaks to format different
parts of your document differently.
 Use password protection to restrict access to sensitive documents. You can also protect your
document from editing or formatting changes.
 File recovery to recover files.
 Different Templates are also available as long connected to the internet.
 Manual printing to both sides (Print add or even)
 Use AutoCorrect to automatically correct common typos and to replace shortcuts with longer
phrases. You can also create custom AutoText entries for frequently used text or formatting.
 Utilize the Spelling and Grammar check
 Use the "Save As" feature to create versions of your document or to save in different formats like
PDF.
 Create and use styles to maintain consistency in your documents. Templates can help you start with
a predefined structure for various types of documents.
