Extract Based Questions:

It is a representation of the Earth's surface on a flat two-dimensional surface. It can be drawn
according to a scale. All the details of a continent, country state, city and local areas can be
shown with all the details. There is another tool to represent earth i.e., a globe. A globe is a
three-dimensional scale model of the earth or other round body. Because it is spherical, or
ball-shaped, it can represent surface features, directions, and distances more accurately than a
flat map.
