THEME: ANOINTED TO SEND THE LIGHT (ACTS 13:47/10:38)

PRAYER TOPICS

Mon 8th & Tues 9th Jan

(1) Prayer of repentance (individual, family, church and nation) – Nehemiah 1:1-5
Confess individual and collective sins
(2) Prayer of rededication (rededicate your individual life, family, church and nation to
God) (Psalm 51:10)
(3) Plead for mercy and divine exemption from God’s wrath and judgement on the account
of our sins (Joel 2:15-17)
(4) Pray for restoration of all that we have lost owing to our sins of disobedience (Joel 2:25)
(5) Pray that God will restore His glory in our midst (1 Sam. 4:21-22)
(6) Pray for spiritual renewal and revival on every side (Psalm 51:7-12)
(7) Pray that God will release the spirit of missions/passion for church planting upon the
church, families, and individuals.
(8) Pray that God will cause a real shift in Assemblies of God, Ghana (shift towards
missions and church planting) (Matthew 28:18-20)
(9) Pray for a prosperous and peaceful 2024
(10) Pray that God’s plans and purposes for 2024 will manifest (Psalm 33:10-11)
(11) Pray that God will release grace, resources and wisdom for the realisation of the
aspirations of the Transformation Agenda (ie Vision of the leadership of A/G, Ghana)
eg. church planting, infrastructural and human capital development, revival,
repositioning, restoration and rebranding etc.
(12) Pray for your region (Regional Superintendent and the E.C – unity, vision, favour,
release of resources for their vision, growth in churches etc) (1 Cor. 3:5-6)
(13) Pray for the Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God, Ghana led by Rev Stephen
Wengam, General Superintendent (wisdom, unity, favor, vision, good health, divine
direction, protection etc)
(14) Pray for the numerical, spiritual & financial growth of all our churches
(15) Pray that every member will experience the blessings of God in (Exodus 23:23-28)
(16) Pray that God will preserve and protect members, pastors & leaders (Psalm (1:4-16)
(17) Pray that every member and pastor will have a unique encounter with God in 2024
(Exodus 33:18-19)
(18) Pray that every church will be empowered and resourced to embark on aggressive
evangelism and church planting.
(19) Pray for the peaceful elections, unity and prosperity of Ghana.
(20) Pray and bind the plans and agenda of Satan for 2024 (Matthew 16:19). Eg. Premature
death, confusion and division in Assemblies of God, Ghana, stalled growth, delayed
marriages, failure etc
Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th January
(21) Pray in tongues for 20 minutes. Build up yourself in your most holy faith (Jude 1:20)
(22) Pray for open heavens in 2024 (release of great blessings, answers to prayers and
financial prosperity) Genesis 28:12-14
(23) Pray for wisdom and creativity to solve the problems which will emerge in 2024
(24) Pray for the grace to survive and thrive in these challenging times (global economic
recession etc). Pray for supernatural provision to meet needs (personal, family, the
church & nation)
(25) Pray for the grace to be Christlike in 2024
(26) Pray for divine direction and guidance in 2024
(27) Pray that God will deliver you, your family, A/G members from satanic traps and
calamities (Psalm 91:11-12)
(28) Deal with demonic prophecies and evil wishes which has been uttered in the demonic
world concerning you, your family and A/G to manifest in 2024
(29) Bind the strongman assigned to A/G, Ghana/headquarters. Bind his plans, evil agenda
and demonic orchestration against the growth of the organisation, local churches,
districts, regions and the General Council (Matthew 12:29)
(30) Pray that God will resource, grace, and empower A/G Ghana to evangelise every town,
city and village in Ghana (churches will be planted in every village and town). Eg
Release monies, motor bikes, vehicles, missionaries etc
(31) Pray that God will open doors for pastors and churches who are struggling financially
(32) Pray for the release of lands, donors, enablers, and funds for the construction of the
Assemblies of God Centenary City (International Convention Center for large
gatherings, camp meetings and retreats)
(33) Pray that God will instil in A/G, Ghana (local churches, districts, regions &
headquarters) a spirit/culture of excellence (2 Kings 10:1-8)
(34) Pray that God will guide the leadership of the church in restructuring and pursuing
administrative reforms necessary for growth, expansion and prosperity as we enter our
centenary.
(35) Pray for the unity of A/G Ghana (at every level-local, district, region and general
council)
(36) Pray for explosive numerical growth in our local churches (Micah 4:1-2)
(37) Pray for the release of financial resources to complete individual, family, church,
district, regions and headquarters projects
(38) Pray for the revival and restoration of Ghana’s economy
(39) Pray that God will give everyone the grace to fulfil his or her new year resolutions
(40) Pray and claim the blessings in Deut 28:1-12 whiles asking for grace to be obedient to
God’s word
(41) Pray that God will endue everyone with the passion to win souls and plant churches
(John 4:32-38)
(42) Pray that God will send forth labourers to plant churches and win souls (Matthew
9:38).
(43) Pray that doors will be opened in unreached countries for church (Psalm 2:8, 1Cor
16:9)
(44) Pray that God will save the lost in our communities and beyond
Friday 12th & Sat 13th January

(45) Pray for revival in your personal life, family, district, region, General Council,
departments, headquarters & agencies (Joel 2:28)
(46) Pray that our pastors and members will love righteousness and hate inequity (Heb 1:9-
11)
(47) Let’s pray for grace to overcome the desires of the flesh
(48) Let’s pray that the fear of God will consume the church causing us to flee from sin
(49) Let’s pray for grace to bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:19-22)
(50) Let’s pray that every member of our church will come to the saving knowledge of
Christ (2 Pet.3:9)
(51) Pray that the Holy Spirit will revive the spirit of missions and evangelism in the church
leading to church growth and church planting (Acts 13:47,10:38)
(52) Pray that the Holy Spirit will release unequalled financial prosperity on A/G, Ghana
for the planting of churches and the beginning and finishing of major church projects
etc.
(53) Pray for massive support for the construction of Assemblies of God Centenary City.
Eg. Release funds, the spirit of loyalty and world class builders etc.
(54) Pray that Assemblies of God will become the church in Micah 4:1-2. Pray that we
shall become the highest of the mountains and exalted above the hills (prominent,
influential, global impact etc)
(55) Pray for the leadership of the church that we will lead in righteousness and with
integrity.
(56) Pray that God will build His church and that the gates of hell will not prevail against
A/G, Ghana (Matthew 16:18)
(57) Pray that God will make every member of the church resourceful to be able to
contribute financially and otherwise towards the realisation of the aspirations of the
Tranformation Agenda (Micah 4:1-2). Eg. Millionaires, billionaires, middle class etc
(58) Pray that souls will saved in our churches everytime the saints gather (Acts 2:46-47)
(59) Pray and release souls from the bondage of occultism, false religion, idolatry etc
(Matthew 12:29)
(60) Pray that the light of Christ will shine in unsaved communities so people will be saved
(Isa 9:2)
(61) Pray that God will bless our evangelistic efforts in 2024 leading to massive growth
and expansion

Sunday 14th January

(62) Pray for God’s supernatural provision in these hard times (Exodus 16:17)
(63) Pray for businesses of members of the church. Pray for grace to thrive, growth and
expansion
(64) Pray for the jobless, singles, widows, orphans and retired ministers in the church, pray
for divine provision for them (1 Kings 17:1-7)
(65) Pray for healing for the sick and good health for God’s people (Jer. 8:22)
(66) Pray that God will heal and restore troubled marriages.
(67) Pray that God will make a way where there is no way(Isa 43:16-19)
(68) Pray that pastors and members will seek first the kingdom God and its righteousness
(Matthew 6:33)
(69) Pray that God will cause our departments, ministries and agencies to grow and flourish
(eg men, women, youth, children, home & foreign mission, music, prisons, AGCM,
Ministers Wives Association, AGTV, Bible School, A/G Care, Prime Insurance,
AGLC (Press), AGBL (Bookshop) ect)
(70) Pray for unity in the church at every level. Deal with the spirit of division (Matthew
12:25)
(71) Pray that our pastors and members will be loyal to the church (Prov 20:7)
(72) Pray for promotion for our members in their respective professions
(73) Pray that our members will excel in every field of endevour
(74) Pray that God will confirm His with signs and wonders in the Assemblies of God,
Ghana.
(75) Pray that God will lead you in the path of righteousness
(76) Pray for open doors for our members, pastors, churches etc
(77) Pray for our pastors in the rural areas who are struggling. Let’s pray that the Missions
Samaritan Fund about to be launched will be successful so we can take care of their
needs.
(78) Pray that God will build His church so that the gates of hell will not prevail against it
(Matthew 16:18)
(79) Pray for greater harvest of souls in 2024 for growth and expansion (John 4:35-38)
(80) Pray for missions/church planting collaborators and partners (Luke 5:1-7)
(81) Bind the strongman assigned to unsaved countries and release souls to be saved
(Matthew 12:29-30)
(82) Pray that God will reveal Himself to the unsaved in our churches and in unchurched
communities
(83) Pray that God will stir every heart towards soul winning and church planting.
(84) Pray that God will establish the souls who will be saved this year.
(85) Pray that God will provide “Pantoon vessels” to cross rivers etc to win souls
(86) Pray that God will provide state of the art equipments for open air crusades etc
(87) Pray that God will provide 4x4 vehicles, motor bikes etc for missions/church planting
etc
(88) Pray that God will touch the hearts of individuals, families and churches to sponsor
the construction of temples for newly planted churches.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE
(89) Deal with satanic altars and gates in every community hindering salvation of souls and
church growth
(90) Destroy demonic spells cast on the unsaved making it impossible and difficult for them
to be saved.
(91) Destroy occultic and witchcraft manipulations of unbelievers hindering their salvation
(92) Pull down strongholds and destroy arguments in the minds of the unsaved delaying
their salvation (2 Cor 10:4-6)
(93) Command the light of Christ to shine in unsaved communities (Gen 1:3)
(94) Command open doors in unreached villages, towns and nations (Isa 45:1b)
(95) Break in pieces iron gates to hearts and communities so they will be receptive to God’s
Word (Isa. 45:2)
(96) Claim the wealth of the unsaved so that they will be released to the church to save
souls (Isa 45:3)
