These instructions describe the installation, operation and maintenance of the subject equipment. Failure to strictly
follow these instructions can lead to an equipment rupture that may cause significant property damage, severe
per-sonal injury and even death. If you do not understand these instructions, please call De Nora Water
Technologies for clarification before commencing any work at +1 215-997-4000 and ask for a Field Service Manager.

Any customer request to alter or reduce the design safeguards incorporated into De Nora Water Technologies

with careful attention to safety. In addition to instruction/operating manuals, all instructions given on labels or

For installations where you want to change the design of your current valve seat ejector to the new design o-
ring ejector, De Nora Water Technologies offers an ejector retrofit kit.

Order from De Nora Water Technologies the correct ejector retrofit kit from the following:
(The kits are the same for 100 and 250 PPD [2 and 5 kg/h).

The following are the instructions on how to install this kit.


A. Remove the four (4) screws holding the ejector top body to the ejector bottom body, retain the nuts.
B. Remove the vacuum tubing connector from the top body and retain.
C. Discard the ejector top body (with valve seat and screw), screws, and diaphragm bolt assembly. Be careful to
retain the spring.
D. Wrap the threads of the vacuum tubing connector with teflon tape and screw into the new ejector top
body.
E. Re-assemble the ejector utilizing the new top body, diaphragm bolt assembly and screws. Reference Figure 1 or
2 depending on capacity of ejector.
