The document discusses rendering 2D drawings in AutoCAD including commands like BHATCH, HATCH, and GRADIENT. It also covers dimensioning drawings using commands like DIM, DIMBREAK, DIMTEDIT, DIMDIAMETER, and DIMRADIUS. The document then discusses setting variables and system variable commands in AutoCAD.

ARC211 RENDERING THE 2D DRAWINGS o BHATCH - Fills an enclosed area or selected objects with a hatch pattern or gradient fill. o HATCH - Uses command prompts to fill an enclosed area or selected objects with a hatch pattern, solid fill, or gradient fill. o GRADIENT - Fills an enclosed area or selected objects with a gradient fill. DIMENSIONING THE DRAWING o DIM - When you hover over an object for dimensioning, the DIM command automatically previews a suitable dimension type to use. o DIMBREAK - Dimension breaks can be added to linear, angular, and ordinate dimensions, among others. o DIMTEDIT - Moves and rotates dimension text and relocates the dimension line. o DIMDIAMETER - Creates a diameter dimension for a circle or an arc. o DIMRADIUS - Creates a radius dimension for a circle or an arc. o DLI – CREATES A LINEAR DIMENSION FROM THE OBJECT Ddim - Creates and modifies dimension styles. DIMSTYLES - Creates and modifies dimension styles. DIMEDIT - Edits dimension text and extension lines. SETTING VARIABLES (SETVAR)-Sets an AutoCAD system variable to a specified value. SYSTEM VARIABLE COMMANDS (SYSVDLG) - Among over 500 system variables to control AutoCAD behavior, there are several that you can use to improve the handling of large data sets. This section explains first how to access the system variable editor, then provides background information and recommended settings for particular variables.
