I am writing to express my sincere interest in applying for the Indigenous PhD scholarship program in
Islamic Studies as announced in your recent call for applications.
My name is Talha Khizar Hafiz, and I hold an M.Phil in Islamic Studies from Government College
University, Lahore. I am reaching out with great passion for the opportunity to pursue a PhD in Islamic
Studies through Indigenous PhD Scholarship program.
During my studies, I dedicated my academic efforts to understanding the various aspects of Islamic Studies.
My coursework has provided me with a solid foundation, and I have consistently demonstrated a high level
of dedication and aptitude in this area.
My academic achievements include a research article titled Refutation of False Allegations upon Sayyidah
Maryam (God Be pleased with her) by Mirzā Ghulām Aḥmad Qādiyānī published in the HEC-recognized
Journal Al-Azva.
My research proposal for the PhD, The Effects of Monasticism in Christianity and Islam, describes my
research goals, methodologies, and expected contributions. I am particularly excited to collaborate with
esteemed faculty members in the relevant field as their expertise closely aligns with my research interest.
In conclusion, I am confident that my academic background and research experience make me a strong
candidate for the Indigenous PhD scholarship program. Furthermore, this will play a pivotal role in realizing
