Basic Reservations

Shopping:
This is the home page for the Verteil Direct Connect Platform.
=এটি Verteil Direct Connect Platform-এর হোম পেজ।
You may initiate a shopping request from here by specifying the criteria like
From/To/Departure date/ Arrival Date etc.
You have the option to select the journey type like Round Trip/One way/ Multicity etc.
Once the fields are filled and click on the start shopping button to proceed to the offer page.

Offer:
This is the offer page where we will see various offers available for the shopping requests we
have made.
The offer page is going to list all the applicable offers for our shopping request.
We can apply filters to narrow down the offers to meet our requirements. For example, here
we are applying a filter to display only offers from Lufthansa.
You will see all fares offered on each flight combination are listed side by side for easy
comparison.
Click on any fare to know more about the rules.
You can compare the basic rules and amenities of the fare by clicking on the green icon next
to each fare category.

Ancillary shopping:
You will land on the ancillary shopping page once you click on the continue button after
selecting the required offer.
We will see a list of ancillary services offered by the airline.
Click on the BUY button to proceed to buy the ancillary. We are trying to buy a seat for the
passenger in this example.
Once the ancillary is selected, we can click on the checkout button to proceed to checkout.
Checkout:
We will get to see the order summary here.
We can review and amend the order if required.
Once the order is reviewed, we can provide the passenger information like name, DOB, and
contact details and proceed to book the itinerary.
We can find various options depending on the airline/agency configuration.

Itinerary confirmation:
Once the payment is made, you will see an itinerary confirmation page with PNR numbers,
flight/document/fare breakup/passenger details, etc.

Booking Cancellation/Refund

Retrieve Booking:
We can use the Manage Reservations tab for retrieving the booking to be modified. We just
have to fill in the PNR and the airline name to retrieve the booking.
Verify the booking:
Once the passenger name itinerary etc are verified, the Agent can click on the cancel booking
button to cancel the itinerary

Cancel booking:
We will get to see the refund calculation once we click on the cancel booking.
Verify the refund calculation and click on the Yes, I want to cancel button to cancel the
booking.
A confirmation of the booking Cancellation and refund total will be displayed on the screen.

Modification
Retrieve booking:
We can use the Manage Reservations tab for retrieving the booking to be modified. We just
have to fill in the PNR and the airline name in to retrieve the booking.

Choosing the correct modify option:


You will see the entire itinerary details once you retrieve the booking.
We can verify the itinerary, passenger, eticket details and proceed with modification.
When you click on the itinerary tab, you will get a MODIFY ITINERARY option.
You can choose to modify the entire itinerary by clicking the MODIFY ITINERARY tab
available at the top of the page.
Or you can click on the MODIFY button next to the outbound/inbound legs.

Modify Itinerary:
You will be redirected to the shopping page when you click on the MODIFY button.
You may initiate a new shopping request to identify an alternative flight.

Offer page:
We can select the new flight/dates from the offer page to proceed with the modification.
You may click on the BUY NOW button once the flight/fare is selected.

Payment details:
We can see the Old fare/New fare/Net amount to be paid in the order summary.
We can select the form of payment and proceed to make the payment once we confirm and
agree to the calculations.

New itinerary details:


We get the new itinerary details once the payment is made. The itinerary modification is
over.
