Lesson Plan in Mathematics 3 - Identifying Odd and Even Numbers

This lesson plan aims to teach students to identify odd and even numbers. It includes preliminary activities like games and math problems to review the concept. The lesson will then model and define odd and even numbers, providing examples of each. Students will participate in guided practice identifying sets of objects as odd or even. Independent practice problems require students to examine single numbers and label them as odd or even. To assess understanding, students will count objects in sets and identify the resulting numbers. For homework, they must list 5 odd and 5 even numbers.
