EARTH

The document discusses several issues related to climate change and its impacts. It notes that evidence is growing that human production of greenhouse gases is disrupting the natural balance and trapping more of the sun's heat, leading to global warming. As temperatures rise and sea ice melts, polar bears are struggling to find food and having to venture into human settlements. Forests, which act as the planet's lungs, have also suffered from humanity's exploitative greed.

EARTH. The only planet where humans and other species may coexist is Earth.

Life on earth is
supported by essential resources including air, water, and soil.

She owns this forest. Her ocean is this one. She owns this mountain.

However, do not feel bad about being among those who saw this. *lake* turns into… this*city*?

Member: As cultures developed, issues grew worse. The resources of the Earth have been recklessly and
selfishly used by humanity over the ages, causing damage to it. *garbage

Precipitation (rain and snowfall)

has increased across the globe.
Yet some regions are
experiencing more severe
drought, increasing the risk
of wildfires, lost crops,
and drinking water shortages.
*typhoon & drought
The warming itself is our very
own creation. The growing
number of vehicles in the urban
jungle has added layers of toxic,
choking us and the atmosphere.
Rising temperatures
are affecting wildlife and their
habitats. *too many cars
Ice is melting worldwide,
especially at the Earth’s
poles. Much of this
melting ice
contributes to sea-level rise.
Global sea levels are rising 0.13
inches (3.2 millimeters) a
year, and the rise is occurring at
a faster rate in recent years.

As temperatures rise, and sea
ice melts, polar bears lose
access to the main staple of
their diet—seals. Starving, and
running out of energy, they are
forced to wander into
human settlements for any
source of food. Feeding polar
bears is illegal. Without finding
another source of food, this bear
likely only had a few more
hours to live. *polar bear

Member: The problems grew worse as cultures developed. Over the millennia, humanity has damaged
the planet by exploiting its resources carelessly and greedily. *typhoon & drought

Member: The warming itself is a result of human activity. The increasing number of vehicles in the urban
jungle has added more harmful layers, suffocating the environment and ourselves. Wildlife and their
habitats are being impacted by rising temperatures. *too many cars

Member: All around the world, but notably at the Earth's poles, ice is melting. The melting of most of
this ice raises the sea level. The pace of global sea level rise is 0.13 inches (3.2 millimeters) per year, and
it has accelerated recently. *high sea level*

Member: Polar bears are unable to get seals, which are the main component of their food, as
temperatures rise and sea ice disappears. Due to hunger and exhaustion, they are compelled to stray
into populated areas in search of any food source. Polar bears cannot be fed. This bear could have had
only a few hours left to live if it hadn't found another food source. *polar bear

Humans had only profits and

growth in his vision. *clips of

Evidence is mounting that
humans have disturbed this
natural balance by producing
large amounts of some of these
greenhouse gases. As a result,
the Earth's atmosphere
appears to be trapping more of
the sun's heat, causing the
Earth's average temperature
to rise - a phenomenon known
as global warming.
Member: Humans had only profits and growth in his vision. *clips of factories

Member: The evidence that people have upset this natural order by creating substantial volumes of
certain of these greenhouse gases is growing. As a result, it appears that the Earth's atmosphere is
trapping more of the sun's heat, which raises the planet's average temperature and is known as global
warming.

2 Members: Introduction about the solutions

As all human activities are impacting the lives of other organisms, humansonly need to take steps to
protect the earth and its resources.

- We must stop wasting water. When we do this on individual level, this will create a huge impact
onconserving water.
- Upgrade your house - Make it more energy efficient. Get solar panels on yourroof. And have
more plants inside and out.
- Stop using single use plastics - Take your own bag to any store. Don’t useplastic plates or
cutlery.
- Watch what you eat - Always buy local and in season produce. If you’re ready togo a step
further you can go vegetarian or vegan. This is a very good choicebecause a huge
amount of deforestation and pollution is caused by thebio-industry.
- Recycle – Separate your trash. Plastic, paper, glass, organic waste. Recycle old electronics, fabric,
plastic bottle, cans and wood, you name it. You can either resell it or get it to a place where it'll
be used again.

Ending
The lungs of our planet – the
very symbols of life, our
forests, became the victims of
the
blatant exploitative greed of
humanity. A little effort will go
a long way on everyone’s end.
Each action will make a
difference.
