Hi All,
Added spouse in Jan 2019 to my existing Ontario PNP PR application. Sent
all the necessary docs and did my medicals again.
we got the information letter on Aug 15th asking for our whereabouts and we
responded on the same day.
On Sep 3rd I received an interview appointment letter for Sep 9th at
Etobicoke. I received my COPR on the same day.
My spouse lives in India and yet to receive PPR.
Any idea how long would it take for them to ask for Passport after sending
the information letter? Its been more than 5 weeks now.
My file is in Ottawa.
Is this a normal delay? I tried reaching out CIC but response was very
general and wasn't helpful. I also requested for GCMS notes more than 40
days ago but haven't received yet.

Thanks

I think when you order GCMC notes. they will stop processing your
application to provide you with the most accurate info on file. and the
process will get resumed after they process the notes. that might be whats
causing the delay in your application. again i am not 100 % sure. hope this
helps.

May be. I'm not sure either. But My wife got her PPR today. So not worried
about GCMS notes anymore.
Thanks for the reply.

My timeline goes,
File received- September 5, 2017
AOR- October 13, 2017
Medical request- March 22, 2018
Added spouse- January 2, 2019
ADR for spouse- June 19, 2019
Medicals for both- July 12, 2019
COPR(Landing) interview at local office email- September 3, 2019
Landed - September 9, 2019
PPR for spouse from Delhi- September 30, 2019.

For more than 26 weeks after adding spouse into my file there was no update
at all. They really do test our patience to the limit. Hang in there @kaur20 .
It will be worth wait in the end.

Spouse outland.

Man, thats give me a goosebump. it takes so long to add a spouse. It took

you 2.5 months just to appear your spouse in your application and altogether
5 months and no medical request! that's insane.

my timeline is following!

MPNP-inland paper-based

AR Dec 31, 2019

AOR March 17, 2019
MR Sep, M.passed Oct 5th

Spouse add on: Sep 15th,2019 (sent all forms through a web form) + I saw an
ADR for spouse docs on Sep 18 but I already sent all the docs on Sep 15 via
IRCC webform

Received (acknowledgment): September 23rd, 2019

Still waiting for my spouse to be added to my application and MR / BIL
