PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
(Accountabilities associated with the job)

1. Project review and control


• Participate in project reviews with CoE Team Lead and relay information regarding potential issues / concerns
which might affect project budgets / timelines; seek effective resolution and guide team to adopt the solution
• Seek support from CoE Team Lead in case of resource crunch; share expectations and escalate issues to CoE
Team Lead in a timely manner to ensure projects are not delayed

2. Technical Capability Development


• Work along with the CoE Team Lead to scan and assess latest technology in the market; stay abreast with
regulatory changes, if any
• Discuss with the CoE Team Lead and initiate special projects to develop capability around latest technology;
discuss expectations and set timelines / milestones for design / development
• Share progress with the CoE Team Lead and other relevant stakeholders;
• Share outcome with designs, reports, etc. with other teams; address queries and work with the CoE Team Lead
to strengthen the capability

3. Team Management and Development


• Understand issues / concerns within team and take proactive steps
• Guide and mentor team in terms of technical development;
• Train team on different aspects of product design and development, etc. as well as in soft skills such as
analytical skills, problem solving, etc.

2. MAJOR CHALLENGES

Educational Qualifications

a) Qualifications
▪ Minimum Qualification required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ B.Tech/M.Sc

Experience

b) Work Experience Must Have


• Work experience in core Embedded or real-time software development
• Knowledge of software development process.
• Knowledge of programming languages in embedded domain (C/C++, Multi Processor OS, Linux/ Windows
Platform).
• Good experience on RTOS, Schedulers, Bootloaders
• Experience in industry standards like CAN, UDS, Diagnostics

• Experience on different automotive protocols like J1939 etc
• Experience in using Vector tools like Canoe, Canalyzer, etc
• Good communication skills and confidence in discussions at different hierarchical levels.
• Recognizable empathy, with team spirit, and with a high level of assertiveness.
• Should be innovative and creative.
• Knowledge of design tools, software and regulatory standards
• Strong process knowledge
c) Good to Have
• Experience with ADAS or DMS ECU’s including features like Object/Lane Detection, Collision Avoidance, Driver
Monitoring, etc. on Multi Processor devices.
• Experience in ISO26262, AUTOSAR, Matlab, Simulink, CAPL scripting, Python
