Haro's trademark V-Bar top tube design isn't meant to dazzle you with technical
sophistication- It doesn't reduce wind resistance or improve top speed- It's
meant to get your attention, to stand out rather than blend in- It's a bike that
doesn't look like 95% of the rest of the bikes on the market.
Aside from the visual aspects of the V-Bar design, there are several tangible
benefits that go along with standing out. Like standing over for instance. The
V-Bar design provides superior standover height when compared to conventional
frames, and that can come in handy during unplanned dismounts.
The V-Bar design also facilitates determining which frame size fits you the
best- Conventional bikes are sized primarily based on vertical top tube
clearance. With the V-Bar' s lower standover height, you can focus on top tube
length and choosing the size that best
suits your style of riding rather than
just clearing the top tube by an inch
or two.
