Changing Language to English on M320/M330.
Purpose:
The purpose of this procedure is to instruct customer on how to switch the language on the control
back to English.
Overview:
There are times when parameters are lost or when a control needs to be reinitialized. When this
happens the parameters either default to 0 (when reinitializing) or get junk data (when battery goes
dead). In order for the control to come up in English, the Language parameter needs to be set to a 1
This procedure will walk you through getting the control back to English.
Tools Needed:
N/A
Instructions:
I. . Setting Language to English
A. Accessing Machine parameters.
1. Power on control.
2. Press the [Alarm/DIAG] hard key.
3. Press the fourth soft key from the left.
4. At this point you will see XY addresses.
5. Type “1001” in the first parenthesis.
6. Type “M” in the third parenthesis.
7. Press the [INPUT] hard key.
8. The “1001” and “M” should go away. Do not power off the control, if the control is
powered off these steps will need to be repeated.

B. Changing Lang parameter for 320L/320M/330M.
1. Press the [PARAM] hard key.
2. Press the right most menu button (green button).

3. Type in "13" in the first parentheses


4. In the second one type in a "1".
5. Press [Input]

6. Change screens and at this point the control will be back in English
C. Changing PLC switches and PLC messages to English.
1. Access your machine parameters. (Refer to Section A).
2. Press the [PARMA] hard key.
3. Press the {PLC} soft key. (If you do not see the {PLC} soft key, press the {MENU} soft
key until you do).

4. Using the Green Right soft menu key, page over to the Bit Selects Page
5. Type in the first parenthesis a "53".
6. Turn on bit 0. (EX: "xxxxxxx1" the numbers with an X should not be changed).
