Burette - a tool for

measuring both liquid and

gases.
Bunsen Burner - It is used to heat
substances, to combust substances,
and to sterilize objects on high heat.

Microscope - An essential tool to see

microorganisms that are too small
to be seen by the naked eye.

Test tube brush - Used for thorough,

manual cleaning of lab glassware and
plasticware.
Test tube rack - To hold upright
multiple test tubes at the same
time.
Test Tube - It is used to mix
chemicals, hold liquids, heat liquids,
grow bacteria, and collect/store
bodily fluids, like blood & semen.
Graduated Cylinder - An equipment
used for measuring volumes of
liquids.
Pipette - used for moving small
amounts of liquid or when measuring
and dispensing liquid in mL units.

Porcelain Spatula - It is used to

take small amounts of compounds
that are basically powder.

Tong - used for grasping and

lifting vessels of heat-resistant
material used in high temperature
chemical reactions.

Thermometer - an
instrument used to measure
temperature.

Mortar & Pestle - to crush up

solid chemicals into smaller pieces,
or to grind solids into fine powder.
Beaker - as a reaction container or to
hold liquid or solid samples. They are
also used to catch liquids from
titrations and filtrates from filtering
operations.

Watch glass - as a surface to

evaporate a liquid, to hold solids
while being weighed, for heating a
small amount of substance, and as
a cover for a beaker.

Funnel - used for filtering, filling,

decanting or transferring liquids or
powders from one vessel to another.

Erlenmeyer Flask - used in labs

for mixing, cooling, heating,
filtrating, incubating, and storing
liquids.
Petri Dish - A petri dish is
used to culture different types
of cells, including bacteria and
molds.

Microscope Slide and Coverslip - It

holds the specimen in place and
protect it from contamination from
the environment. It also protects the
lens of the microscope, stopping it
from coming into contact with the
specimen.

Tripod stand - The tripod stand is

designed to provide a stable base for
the equipment, preventing it from
tipping over or falling during
experiments.
Evaporating Dish - This
separates the liquid and solid
from a solution by allowing the
water to evaporate off into the air

Stirring rod - Used for

mixing liquids, or solids
and liquids.

Weighing Scale - to accurately

determine the mass or weight of an
item or substance within a specific
weight range and to a particular
readability.

Iron Stand - to hold other

kinds of equipment and
glassware, such as burettes,
test tubes, and flasks
Triangular File - used to score
glass tubing to create clean
breaks in the glass.

Iron Ring - used to hold separatory

funnels and can be used to secure
funnels when filtering or pouring
liquids into narrow joints

Volumetric Flask - used for

measuring accurate volumes of
liquid materials for laboratory
experiments
Alcohol Lamp - used for
heating, sterilization, and
combustion

Goggles - used for protection against

chemical splash hazards, use of
concentrated corrosive material, and
bulk chemical transfer.
Lab Gowns - It provides protection
of skin and personal clothing from
incidental contact and small
splashes.

Gloves - It protect against skin

absorption of chemicals, chemical
burns, thermal burns, lacerations,
and cryogenic liquid exposure.
