Course Objectives :

This course will help the learner to explore the financial environment in which firms and
managers must operate to maximization of the shareholder’s wealth. The knowledge of
financial principles is advantageous to students in virtually every discipline in business.
This course will encourage the entrepreneurial skills among students which lead to
meeting financial planning and financial objectives.

Learning Outcome(s) :

By the end of the course, the students shall be:


1. able to explain the financial environment, role of financial managers and its
relationship with different stakeholders to manage business.
2. able to assess the factors affecting investment, financing, and working capital
decisions to identify the appropriate opportunities for any organization.
3. Ability to formulate knowledge to meet the social problems and organizational
objectives.
