New mechanical ware wash machines save resources but often create more foam due to lower temperatures and less water consumption. BASF tested 120 rinse aid formulations with Dehypon and Plurafac types and identified 6 favorites that showed improved foam control and comparable spotting performance to benchmarks. The formulations contained varying percentages of Plurafac LF 120, LF 221, LF 303 and Dehypon LS 36 and LS 54 as well as cumolsulfonate, Texapon EHS, and water.
