The Clients On Command DM - 2024 Edition by Sean Ferres

Sean Ferres introduces himself as the founder of the Copy Millions Blueprint program who helps ordinary people earn extraordinary incomes through remote copywriting. He claims that times of crisis like the pandemic actually led to increased incomes for copywriters as businesses desperately need salespeople. While there are now many more self-proclaimed "copywriters", there are also many more businesses in need of copywriting services. Ferres promises to provide prospects with the right approach to land high-paying copywriting clients quickly through techniques like addressing doubts directly and using name-dropping to build rapport.

PRINCIPLE #3: TEXT LIKE A DRUNK 21-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN A LOUD NIGHTCLUB

Ok, hear me out…

There’s something so pure, innocent, and disarming about the way teenage and young
adult women text each other.

Charlie Munger, business partner and advisor to Warren Buffet, talks about using

So before I explain what the hell I’m talking about, let’s consider the opposite.

3) I didn’t anticipate how popular v1 of this cheat sheet would become (we’re now at 20k+
downloads), to the point where people using this script are getting replies like ”Sean Ferres
taught you well.” (lol) So tweak the message and language to match your own personality!

THE CLIENTS-ON-COMMAND DM™ 20

SOME NOTES (cont.)

Now, at this point you may be wondering… what is this

“something” in their ad/ funnel/ emails that could be
“driving potential customers away”?

Well, that’s up to you to go through their funnel and

decipher. I like to stick with objective, clear-cut,
“A is better than B” suggestions for this rather than
subjective improvements like their copy itself.

“I’m so grateful and I want to

> This will harm their email deliverability (and sales) grow my copywriting business
> Fix by installing Neverbounce or Xverify and hiring from literally zero clients and
a developer (Upwork is fine) to install some basic making no money as a
code in their Clickfunnels/ landing page software copywriter to having six
clients six months later and

2. Their emails are going to promotions or spam consistently making more

3. Their unsub link takes people to the default page cares about his students.”
and allows them to report the emails as spam
> Spam complaints harm domain reputation (and sales)
> Not many people know this, but you can change the unsubscribe link at the bottom
of your emails to take people to any URL you want, provided they still get unsubbed.
Why not take this opportunity to send people to the opt in page of a free training, or
even a sales page? This will ‘save’ a few unsubs while also reducing spam complaints.

Quite brilliant if I say so myself. All in all, this is roughly how it should look:

Pro tip: this script works even better as a video DM. It’s much more personal and no one does it.

ALTERNATIVE: If you have absolutely no one in common to namedrop, you can consider using
James’s version and go straight for the call (not as strong, but it did land him his first client):

Hey NAME! you can keep them to use and re-use forever
I’ve been seeing your ads everywhere so I can tell

I’ll be honest, I’m messaging you for selfish reasons

⚠ IMPORTANT ⚠
Whilst the script in this cheat sheet is highly effective, you
must remember that cold outreach is a game of volume.
You’ll want to send a minimum of 30 DMs a day for 30 days.

Also, remember that this is only the first outreach message.

I cannot overemphasize the importance of following up.
Statistically, 80-90% of calls booked and clients signed will
come from the follow up. So if you don’t hear back, be sure
to follow up every 3 days in creative, value-driven ways.

So there you have it - the Clients-on-Command DM. Use it to close high-paying

copywriting clients and generate income on command for the rest of your life.

If you have any questions (or just want to thank me after landing your next client using
this cheat sheet – shameless flattery is always welcome), don’t hesitate to reach out to
me on Instagram @seanferres.

There’s unfortunately only so much I can cover in this short guide. This process of course
assumes that you have your social profile(s) set up correctly and that you know how to
find high quality prospects, how to audition them and how to close them on the phone
for high-ticket monthly retainers. Not to mention, how to deliver kickass results!

If you’d like some more training around this, I’ve just spent the last week putting together
a private 51-minute masterclass where I reveal the ‘Gmail Loophole’ I used to fire my boss
and rake in six figures writing 3 simple emails a day from home.

I believe ‘Gmail copywriting’ is the most valuable, in-demand type of copywriting and by far
the easiest way to make $10k/mo+ consistently. You can watch the free training HERE.

I look forward to hearing about how my work has helped you crush your goals 👊
