Descriptive Essay Conclusion

Crafting a conclusion for a descriptive essay can be a challenging task that requires a delicate balance
between summarizing key points and leaving a lasting impression on the reader. The difficulty lies in
encapsulating the essence of the entire essay while avoiding redundancy and monotony. One must
strive to evoke a sense of closure and reflection without being overly explicit or repetitive.

To begin with, summarizing the main ideas without simply restating them verbatim requires finesse.
The conclusion should not regurgitate the same information presented in the body of the essay but
rather synthesize it in a way that reinforces the overarching theme. Striking this balance can be a
daunting task, as there's a fine line between reinforcing key points and sounding redundant.

Furthermore, the challenge extends to creating an emotionally resonant conclusion. Descriptive

essays often aim to elicit a visceral response from the reader by vividly depicting scenes, emotions,
or experiences. The conclusion must not only tie together these emotional threads but also leave a
lasting impact. Crafting sentences that linger in the reader's mind requires a keen understanding of
the emotional nuances explored throughout the essay.

Moreover, avoiding clichГ©s and generic statements is crucial. The temptation to resort to overused
phrases can be strong, especially when attempting to provide a sense of closure. However, a truly
effective conclusion requires originality and a departure from the mundane. This necessitates a
creative approach to language and expression, making the task of concluding a descriptive essay all
the more demanding.

In conclusion, writing a conclusion for a descriptive essay demands a delicate balance between
summarizing key points, evoking emotions, and maintaining originality. Striking this balance can be a
formidable task, requiring careful consideration of language, tone, and the overall impact on the
reader. It's an intricate process that challenges the writer to encapsulate the essence of the essay in a
few impactful sentences.

say that Michael s ego was underdeveloped and weak. This could explain why he couldn
t understand why he came off as odd to the public. If Michael s ego was developed he
would know that having sleepovers with boys would be considered wrong in society s
norm.
The lack of ability of creating friendships when he was a child could explain why he
always surrounded himself with children, and preferred to be in the presence of
children than adults. He always stated that children were pure in the heart and less
manipulative than adults. The Id of Michael struggled with the ego. The ego was
never able to keep under control his desires and pleasures, allowing his Id to take over.
His creation of the amusement park shows how the Id overpowered his ego. The
amusement park wasn t only for children to enjoy, but for him to enjoy and relive his
childhood. Freud would analyze this gratification as becoming a core aspect of Michael s
personality.
