Configuration Items
Middleware: Middle Server Address. Type the IP address from your laptop/desktop.
Status Reports: Report the detailed information status of the terminal device (including
device number, device IP, APP version, number of personnel, number of attendance
records, device addition time and online and offline status), and report it once in 180
seconds by default.
Encrypted Link: lt is not used by default. If enabled, TLS encryption protocol is used for data
interaction.
Recognition Configuration
lt includes in Live Detection Switch and Live Detection Threshold, Card/Face Matched
Recognition Threshold, Distance Value, Same Face intervals and other Settings, which can
be adjusted according to the actual use scenario.

Configuration Items
Live Detection Threshold: This will only work once Live Detection if ON. Used to set the
living threshold, default is 40; The higher the value, the higher the anti-counterfeiting, but
also affect the recognizing speed.
Face Recognition Threshold: Recognition similarity, default 80; If the face ldatabases
more than 10,000, we suggest to set it 90 above.
Card/Face Match: Used to compare the photo on ID card with photo collected by face
database, default 70.

Recognition Distance Threshold: If the distance threshold is low, the person should close to the screen for
detection, default 80.
Recognizing Interval for Same Person: The interval between repeated recognition of the same person
within the recognition range is 3 seconds by default.
Recognizing Left and Right Recommend: Default 18, the lower the value is, the more difficult to identify
the left and right side of the heard, and the more need to center the face in order to normally identify it.
Recognizing Up and Down Recommend: Default 18, the lower the value, the more difficult it is to recognize
the head and the head, and the more the face needs to be centered to be recognized normally.
Recognizing Sided Head Recommend: Default 18, the lower the value, the more difficult it is to recognize
the head and the head, and the more the face needs to be centered to be recognized normally.
Card/Face Matched Comparison Timeout: The time for compare ID card and face, default 2 seconds.
Scene Configuratioin
Mainly for ON/OFF of Access Control, Door Remote Open, Blacklist.
Configuration Items
Enable Access Control (local): Default Off, only workable when ON.
Enable Door Remote Openning: Default Off, after enabled, the door opening will be controlled through
remote instruction issued by the platform (please refer to the docking protocol for details).

Enable Valid Time: Enabled by default. After enabled, the platform will contrai each person's original
order to identify the effective time;People will not be able to recognize faces and pass during the invalid
time.
Save Date: Whether to keep the attendance data of personnel identification successfully in the terminal
equipment.
Upload Phtotos: After successful face comparison, whether to upload the photos taken on site to the
platform for on-site clocking and forensics.
Share Date: After enabled, the attendance record will be pushed to the platform (it must be enabled to
save data or not).
Enable ID Card: Support only when enabled (this function requires the device with ID module).
Card/Face Match: Compare ID card with face, only passable when it's same person.
Verity Date: Once enabled, also necessary to verify whether the card number field managed by the
personnel has the IDENTITY card number before it can be passed.
Online Registration: Enabled to automatically save the photos collected from the ID card to the
personnel management and upload platform.
Report Attendance with ID Card Information: once enabled, terminal will also report the ID card
information to the platform in the data submitted to the attendance record.
Allow Syn People without Photo: After enabled, the platform can send people without photos to the
terminal device (for card only).
Sensor Switched Camera (465): When enabled, the camera will be turned on and off by infrared
sensors.
Enable Linkage with the Platform: This function can be used in conjunction with the free platform
linkage of some industry customers. lgnored if no.
Pop-up Voice Content: After enabled, the device will prompt recognition of success or failure through
voice broadcast and popover, and it will be turned on by default.
Enable House lntercom Communication: After it is enabled, it is applied to the smart intercom system.
After modifying this setting, the APP needs to be restarted.
Enable QR Code Function: Off by default. After enabled, can be used for docking with the TWO-
DIMENSIONAL code reader, which is connected to the terminal via USB interface.
Enable Construction Area Mode: If enabled, it automatically write the configuration of parameters
adapted to the site scene, without manual setting one by one.
Enable ID Card + Face Matched Authentication: If enabled, when the user swipes the card, he/she also
needs to check whether the face is his/her own, so as to prevent others from swiping the card.
lntercept the Last Three Bytes of the Card Number: When enabled, device will remove the 3 bytes of the IC
card number when it identifies the IC card and reports to the platform.
Enable 485 Serial Port Share Reacord: After enabled, the attendance record can be pushed to the
platform through the 485 window protocol.

Enable Food Reservation Function: This function can be used by industry users who have
the need to order food, and the meal time can be set according to the time period.
Not Wearing Mask Alarm: Not enabled by default; You can set it to enable.
Activate Body Temperature Detection Function: Not enabled by default. If the current device
is configured with a temperature detection module, it needs to be enabled, and the following
three benchmark parameters should be set:
1. High Temperature is Not Allow to Enter: When enabled, if the body temperature is
abnormal, face recognition is not required, so people are not allowed to enter.
2. Highest Normal Temperature: Exceeding the set value will report abnormal body
temperature.
3. Reference Temperature: The default normal body temperature is 36.5. Change this
to 99.3 if you would like it to use Fahrenheit.
Personnel Management
Mainly for staff management, like seraching/adding/deleting. Batch addition and
deletion can be realized through the platform, and the last shift of the terminal can only
be recorded, modified and deleted by a single person.

Can search the user's data that stored on this terminal, including name, data, time.

Configuration Items
General Attendance: Use equipment: door locks or gates with authentication are
required for entry.
Entering Door Attendance: Use equipment: only entry door locks or gates need to be
identified.
Going Out Door Attendance: Use equipment: only entry door locks or gates need to be
identified.
Automatic Door Opening After Recognized: Open by default, control and recognize the
door Iock action after passing.
Closing Door Delay: Recognize the time of issuing the door closing instruction after
passing the door opening, default is 5 seconds.
Reply: Used for relay connection of door locks or these scenarios, enabled by default.
Wiegand 26: Used for 26 BIT weigan interface to connect the door Iock or brake scene,
default off.
Wiegand 34: Used for 34 BIT weigan interface to connect the door Iock or brake scene,
default off.
Filling Light
The state of the filling light can be set as normally on, normally off or automatically
switched on.When the automatic switch is set, the ambient temperature threshold will
take effect. When the ambient temperature around the site is lower than the set
threshold, the supplementary light will be automatically turned on.
Screen Lock
Can set the time to keep the screen lighting, and then enter the state of the rest screen
when not working. Users can set it according to actual application scenarios.
Voice Broadcast
When the person is identified, the name or welcome speech can be broadcast.Voice
broadcast content can be customized according to actual requirements.
Video lntercom
lt is used in smart community intercom and other applications to dial the room number
to talk to indoor personnel, who can open the door with one click or open the Iock with
one click of automatic call service center.

Configuration Items
Pop-up Dial Keyboard interval: Available for dial-up calls to rooms and indoor units, default 3.0.
Sound Card Volume Gain: Used to adjust the volume of sound output, default -6.0.
Microphone Volume Gain: Used to adjust the volume of microphone input, default -4.0.
Account Configuration
Data Synchronous
Used for field personnel, incremental or full synchronization of platform personnel data, as well
as clear of all face data and attendance data (Note: caution is required).
Configuration Items
lncremental Synchronous: Update the data on existing.
Resync: Clean the original data and then reload the new data.
Clear Face Recognition Data: Clear face brushes and snap photos.
Clear User Data: Clear brush face data, user local data and avatar files.
Organizing Configuration
lt can set the organization ID of the device and display the prompt message and content format
after swiping the card and face.

Configuration Items
Organizing ID: Terminal organizing ID, mainly used to distinguish the application scenarios of different
terminal companies.
Recognize Face/ID Card: By default, "- Recognized Face/ID Card -" can be displayed in the bottom part of
the main menu, and the component can be adjusted to another one. If not, the foot_disp_mode field below
can be modified: 2 or 3.
$(name)$(success): If null the name of the person and the word "successful "will not be displayed.
Default $(name)$(success), name and successful will be displayed.
&(uid): If null, the person number is not displayed. Default $(uid), name and successful will be displayed.
$(cardCount) records $(time): If null won't show the number of times and person's record. Default
$(cardCount) records $(time) will show number of records.
$(tota1Count)/$(userCount): If null won't show the number of times and person's record in total . Default
$(totalCount)/$(userCount) will show number of records in total.
HH:mm:ss: If null won't display attendance time. Default HH:mm:ss will show exact time off attenda nce.
b) 2 means it is displayed when swiping a card or face, but not when it is idle.
System Maintenance
lt is mainly used to set the hidden navigation bar and drop-down notification bar as well as modify the
background management password.
Configuration Items
Hide the Bottom Menu: Do not open by default, the bottom navigation bar will not be displayed after enabled.
Disable Swiping Down from the Top of the Notification: lt is not enabled by default, and the notification bar
cannot be displayed by means of drop down.

View the current software version number and use it to check if the platform has the latest
version and to upgrade online.
