SETTING OUT Check Layout
MEP/CIVIL Civil clearance to the level
1. Check if locations & nos. of down
conductors are as per project specification
and approved shop drawings.
2. Check if sizes of lightning tapes are as per
the approved shop drawing.
3. Check if copper tape nets and clips are
installed as shown on shop drawings in
proper way.
4. Check for Air terminals installed as per
approved shop drawing.
5. Check the height of air rods that should be
at the highest level.
INSTALLATION
6. Check the installation as per
Manufacturer's Recommendation.
7. Check on roof all equipment’s bonded to
Lightning Protection System.
8. Check if the test clamps are connected as
per shop drawings.
9. Check if the connection of lightning tapes
and wires properly fixed as per approved
detailed drawing.

10. Check the installation of the earth pits as


per latest approved shop drawings.

11. Check the earth Resistivity Test for the


Testing earth pit as per project specification (<10
Ohm).
