(MATH) (SEC 1) Chapter 8 - Angles, Triangles, and Polygons

This document discusses different types of angles, properties of triangles and polygons. It defines right, acute, obtuse and reflex angles. It states general rules such as the sum of angles on a straight line is 180 degrees and at a point is 360 degrees. It describes corresponding, alternate and interior angles. Properties of triangles such as sum of interior angles is 180 degrees are explained. Various regular polygons from quadrilateral to decagon are defined. The formula for sum of interior angles of an n-sided polygon is given as (n-2) x 180 degrees. It also states the sum of exterior angles of a polygon is 360 degrees.
