Sample Essay About Myself

The document provides a description of a proposed mathematical modeling project. It discusses how mathematical models are commonly used in fields like engineering to make inferences based on available data when an analytical solution is not possible. The models often contain unknown parameters that must be estimated through solving an inverse problem using observed data. Additionally, models can represent high-dimensional fields varying on multiple scales, making computational solutions challenging. The proposed project aims to develop efficient computational techniques to solve inverse problems for complex mathematical models.

Sample Essay About Myself

Writing an essay about oneself might seem like a straightforward task, as who knows oneself better
than the person in question? However, the challenge lies in striking a delicate balance between self-
expression and humility, avoiding both self-aggrandizement and self-deprecation. It's a fine line to
walk, and navigating it can be akin to traversing a tightrope.

The difficulty further intensifies when considering the need to engage the reader. How does one
present personal information in a way that captivates and resonates with the audience? Finding the
right tone, neither overly boastful nor excessively modest, is a task that requires a deep understanding
of one's own strengths and weaknesses, as well as an awareness of how they might be perceived.

Moreover, the introspective nature of such an essay demands a level of self-awareness that many find
uncomfortable. It requires delving into personal experiences, reflecting on accomplishments, and
sharing vulnerabilities. Unearthing one's own story, even for the purpose of self-portrayal, can be a
daunting prospect.

Crafting a compelling essay about oneself also involves honing one's writing skills. It's not just about
what is said but also how it is said. The language must be engaging, the structure coherent, and the
narrative should flow seamlessly from one point to the next. This demands a level of proficiency in
writing that can be a hurdle for many.

In essence, writing an essay about oneself is a formidable challenge that requires a delicate dance
between self-disclosure and artful expression. It's an exercise in self-reflection, storytelling, and
communication prowess. Aspiring to create an essay that is both authentic and captivating demands
time, effort, and a willingness to embrace vulnerability.

For those grappling with the intricacies of self-portrayal or seeking assistance in articulating their
unique stories, various resources are available. Professional writing services, such asHelpWriting.net
, offer support in crafting essays that leave a lasting impression. Whether it's about oneself or any
other topic, seeking help can transform a daunting task into a manageable one, ensuring that your
narrative is not only well-told but also well-received.

Greek Vs Tektura
Throughout history there has been a great confusion about the architectural styles of
the Greek and Roman civilization since they are mistakenly believed to be the same
style and therefore in some occasions it is given less importance. In this essay I will try
to clarify the difference between Greek and Roman Tektura by covering the themes of
history with material orders and to give some examples of different decisions of each
culture. Archaic period: in the first stage has several phases begins at the beginning of
the first millennium and closes in the first third of the century D defined architecture As
buildings executed according to an aesthetic design Conciente disappeared from Greece
since the end of the mythic period. When in urban life
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens Essay
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens wrote his novels during the Victorian times. Britain was a harsh place
at this time with the upper and lower classes being clearly separated. Dickens himself
grew up as part of the lower classes, and so he knew what it was like. It was very hard
for the poor to survive, many of them having no alternative but to go into the
workhouses. This seemed to be the worst place to end up, as many people would rather
have died than gone into the workhouses. When people went to the workhouses, they
were separated from their families, forced to work long hours and hardly fed at all. The
workhouse system was the upper classes solution to poverty, but it did not help at all.

From this, we can tell that Scrooge did not care about the situation of the poor in
London at the time and did not see any reason why he should help. This view was
commonly held by Victorian people when Dickens wrote the novel. I know this because
if the upper did actually try to help the lower classes, then the inhumane workhouse
system would not have been in existence.

Scrooge s attitude towards Christmas completely contrasts to everyone else s attitude in

the novel. The ordinary people walking around on
Christmas Eve were jovial and full of glee whereas Scrooge carried his own low
temperature around with him . He said that they had nothing to be merry about because
every Christmas they found themselves a year older, and not an hour richer .
Nevertheless, the poor in this novel find their happiness with the simplest things, as we
are shown by the Ghost of Christmas Present .

The Ghost of Christmas Present is portrayed as a warm character with a jovial air about
him. This particular spirit shows us that although there was nothing very cheerful in the
climate or the town ,
there was an air of cheerfulness amongst the people in the streets
i.e. the lower classes. It is through this sprit that we see the lower classes that make do
with what they have, and are grateful and happy about the simple things in life. I think
that Dickens is trying to
Simone De Beauvoir s Oppression Of Women
solely for the good of the person subjected to it. Marriage is the only actual pondage
known to our law. There remain no legal slaves, except the mistress of every house.
(1999, 92)

Like John Stuart Mill, the eminent French feminist Simone de Beauvoir is against the
oppression of women; she objects to the prevalent belief that women are inferior by
nature. This unfair belief resulted in the subordination of women, and hence man, was
regarded as the One and woman the Other; man is the Subject, he is the absolute_ she is
the other (De Beauvoir 1956, 16). De Beauvoir argues that sometimes the majority
oppress the minority such as the Negroes in America but women are not a minority to be
oppressed; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Irigaray is against the patriarchal societies that exploit women and regard them as
subordinate to men. She remarks that [I]n our social order, women are products used
and exchanged by men. Their status is that of merchandise, commodities (1985, 84).
She believes that women should resist the oppression they experience under patriarchy;
Consequently, she suggests that women should join together in order to escape from
the spaces, roles, and gestures that they have been assigned and taught by the society of
men (1985, 164). Irigaray believes that [T]he first issue facing liberation movements is
that of making each woman conscious of the fact that what she has felt in her personal
experience is a condition shared by all women, thus allowing that experience to be
politicized (1985, 164). Women should love each other, and put an end to rivalry among
them so as to create a form of social existence better than that imposed upon them in male
dominated societies.

In fact, the previously discussed principles of feminism are applicable to Maria Irene
Fofnes plays, Fefu and her Friends (1978), Mud (1983) and The Conduct of life (1985),
which will be examined in this paper. Maria Irene Fornes (1930 ) is actually a Cuban
American feminist and activist. She points out that I am a feminist in that I am very

Descriptive Essay About A Art Museum
Art Museum When I went to the museum there were beautiful and amazing art that I
really enjoy. My first impression when I walked in was wow and how they made all
this. I also thought who came up with these design. There were many crazy and funny
looking designs I really liked. I enjoyed the one with a big rock in the middle and sand
around it. It was really simple but had so much meaning to it. I was pleased on how
the staffs showed us around and treated us. They were interested on how we liked and
didn t like the art there. There were so much fancy art there but one caught my eyes.
Which was the picture of the flying babies. They told me the flying babies had the
power to heal and to do good in the world. When the battles came they would sent them
after all the soldiers needed help. If I had the power to heal people or myself that s
what I would do. I also got to see the very old coins collections. I got to see a very
special thing which was butterflies and moths on the wall. There were probably about
thousand of each butterflyand moths. They were made of metal it was very unique.
There was another special room we got to go in which was called the flashing lights. It
was amazing and gorgeous. It was blacked out and it was like a maze in the dark. For a
few seconds some lights would flash on and off which made it awesome. The top three
artsthat really interested me were the 3D box, the man made out legos and the man on
the wall. My first art
Project Description Of A Mathematical Model
Project Description In many science and engineering applications, such as petroleum
engineering, aerospace engineer ing and material sciences, inference based on a
mathematical model and available observations from the model has garnered importance
in recent years. With the lack of the analytical expres sion, in most scenarios this solution
involves numerical approximation. The underlying system may contain unknown
parameters which requires solving an inverse problem based on the ob served data. In
many cases the underlying model may contain high dimensional field which varies in
multiple scales such as composite material, porous media etc. This high dimensional
solution can become computationally taxing even with the recent advent of... Show more

is an inverse problem. 1 Figure 1: Left hand panel shows one dimensional
basis at coarse level of discretization at grid points 1,2,3,.... Basis corresponding grid
point 2, φ2 is supported in [1,3] interval and zero otherwise and linear in [1,2] and

non zero value on coarse neighborhood of some coarse grid points but has high
resolution by solving a local problem. The solution u, the parameter κ can have
oscillatory nature (both in temporal and spatial scale) with multiple scales/periods. A
numerical solution that captures the local property of this solution requires capturing
the local structure which involves solving a homogenous version of (1) locally and
use these solutions as basis to capture the global solution, which is known as
multiscale solution (Fish et al., 2012; Franca et al., 2005). A highly oscillatory κ(x, t)
= κ(x) is given for a two dimensional domain in Figure 2 . In numerical solution, the
domain is split into many small grids and basis corresponding to each grid, also known
as fine scale basis, can capture the oscillatory solution (see Figure 1). The linear pde
system can be reduced into
