Interview Abrevations
Supervise the operation in plants during the shift schedule assigned and manage work assignments
organizing the daily production volume through ensuring a high quality, efficient, and safe
production
target and facility start-up and shutdown on the plant's daily operation aligned with specific
qualifications
requested.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Perform periodic routine operations such as switch-over of filters pumps or equipment start-up
and shut-down.
2. Report abnormal operation situations to supervisory personnel and management to Plant
Manager and prepare a shift activity/ daily production report including production daily volumes,
time off requests of workers, daily break down minutes, time off due to maintenance break.. etc.
3. Secure and isolate equipment from the process when on-line maintenance is scheduled in
coordination with instrumentation and electrical maintenance technicians.
4. Ensure first communication line with regards to safety and security with customer operating team,
network coordination or other neighboring production facilities.
5. Manage coordination with customer operating team, network coordination or other neighboring
production facilities.
6. Operate control panels and system, patrol work area and listen for warning signals and take
corrective actions in response in case of any warning signals or emergency.
7. Operate control panels and control systems to regulate process parameters in order to ensure the
required production and meet customers' demands.
8. Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure safe operation and product quality /reliability.
9. Perform security or safety reporting; participate in root cause analysis of any injury and loss cases
10. Train and develop newcomer workers ensuring all necessary safety training and technical
instructions are provided to the workers.
11. Provide first instructions to visitors and other plant personnel in case of an emergency or a site
visit.
12. Identify emergency situations regarding the security and safety of the facility ensuring all HSE&Q
instructions are strictly followed by workers in the shift.
Experience & Skills required:
LSR: (Life saving Rules)The nine rules are: bypassing safety controls, confined space, driving,
energy isolation, hot work, line of fire, safe mechanical lifting, work authorisation and working at
height. Two key messages form part of all these rules.
