Student Health & Dental Plan. The plan, administered by SUCCI, provides flexible insurance
designed especially for students. All students are automatically enrolled in the Balanced
Plan with the option of increasing coverage. Visit www.wespeakstudent.com for more
information about your plan and available coverage.

out of the college health plan and receive a refund.
International Students
All international students registered at Confederation College are provided with health insurance.
Enrolment is coordinated through the International Education Centre and the health insurance plan is
provided by StudyInsured, under the “Explore Canada” plan. This plan is designed to provide
you with comprehensive coverage during your studies at Confederation College. Once
enrolled you will be contacted via your college email after the start of the semester and

this carefully.
IMPORTANT: Visit the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital for true medical emergencies only. The
Emergency Department at the hospital is not for routine ailments or common medical conditions.
Your claim may be denied if you request emergency services for common complaints. Please book an
appointment through our Health Centre for these instances instead.
HEALTH CENTRE
Learning to take care of your own health will be a very important part of your life as a college student.
Confederation College’s Health Services Centre provides primary health and mental health care to
on-campus and regional students. Health Services is open throughout the academic year to enable
students’ access to medical services to help them become active participants in their own health care.
