What Do You Think?
Answer the following questions substantively:
Mrs. Pangilinan was upset seeing the walls of her house full of doodles and squiggles made by his 3-
year-old son. She reprimanded her son and kept all the pens and crayons to refrain his son from
doodling on the walls. Do you agree with what Mrs. Pangilinan did? Why or why not? What advice
would you tell her?
In my own opinion, Mrs. Pangilinan has the right to kept all the pens and crayons specially if
inappropriate used. Her Children need to know the proper use of pens and crayons. This will be now the
role of Mrs. Pangilinan to teach her children what are do's and don't. For the best way to discipline your
son is totals to her and explain calmly that doodling on the wall is not good and let her clean the wall to
make your child realize that what he/she is doing is really wrong and it is very difficult to clean the mess
they create.
You are invited as a resource speaker in a seminar which will be attended by parents of elementary
pupils. Your task is to encourage the parents to expose their children to different art activities. What
ideas and concepts will you tell to the parents? Prepare an outline of your talk.
For me, Students in Elementary are full of imagination they are more on curiosity and adventures.
If I'm going to be a source speaker in a seminar, I would tell to the parents that let their children to
explore things that they love specially in Arts through this they will have a hobby at the same time they
developed their skills in Arts. And by doing so I will going to thoroughly explain to them the benefits of
art, importance of art and what can art do to their children and I will also look for someone who can be
an example that art is really a great activity and can be a talent that their child can have. The outline will
be to Define what is art, State the benefits of art, The importance of art, Introduce someone relating to
art, to go through a tough and long convincing for the parents to allow their children, Rest assured that
their child will be a hundred percent safe.
Teacher Renan tasked his students to make a montage that would showcase their home-based
learning experiences. What cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory-motor skills would be
developed by this art activity of Teacher Renan?
Art-related activities are fun for young children and are a good way to encourage creativity and
assist with the development of fine motor skills and spatial awareness. However, new research has shown
that being involved in the arts is also beneficial for social and emotional development. Social and
emotional development represents a child's ability to control their feelings or behaviors, get along with
others, build relationships with adults, and recognize and understand the emotions of people around
them..
