Comparison Contrast Essay Example Paper

Writing a "Comparison Contrast Essay Example Paper" can be a challenging task that requires careful
consideration, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the subjects being compared. The
difficulty lies not only in gathering relevant information but also in presenting it coherently and
persuasively.

Firstly, selecting suitable subjects for comparison is crucial. Identifying two topics that share
similarities and differences, yet are substantial enough to provide meaningful content, can be a
daunting process. Once chosen, delving into extensive research is necessary to gather enough data to
support your points effectively.

Organizing the essay poses another challenge. Establishing a clear structure and deciding on the most
suitable method of comparison—whether it be point-by-point or block style—requires thoughtful
planning. Each paragraph must contribute to the overall argument while maintaining a logical flow.

Additionally, maintaining a balance between the comparison and contrast aspects can be tricky. It's
essential to provide a fair assessment of both subjects, avoiding bias and ensuring that the essay
doesn't lean heavily towards one side.

Crafting a compelling thesis statement is another hurdle. This statement should encapsulate the main
argument and guide the reader through the essay. Ensuring that it reflects the nuanced relationship
between the compared subjects adds an extra layer of complexity.

Moreover, the essay's language and tone need to be precise and academic. Striking the right balance
between formality and engaging prose is essential for keeping the reader's interest while conveying a
scholarly approach.

In conclusion, composing a "Comparison Contrast Essay Example Paper" involves navigating

through the intricacies of topic selection, research, organization, balance, thesis formulation, and
writing style. It demands a meticulous approach to detail and a commitment to presenting a well-
rounded analysis.

Stephen Beus Concert Report
March/16/2017, Stephen Beus performed several different pieces of music from
several different composers. The concert itself was a formal type event. People who
attended the concert were also dressed formal and fancy like, they look sophisticated.
People wore suits, dresses, some had on formal shirts and pants. Others wore casual
clothing like: Jeans and a t shirt. The lighting of the concert was also fancy. The lights
that were over the audience were dimmed and the lights were left shining on the pianist
because he is the main reason of the concert. After the concert was over there was a mini
reception, everyone gathered around and had conversations and ate snacks. The snacks
that they had were petite. There were mini cakes, cookies, and... Show more content on

He then took a paid leave from music and read about the achievements and life of
Victor Hugo. He wrote symphonic poems. Franz Liszt died of pneumonia in 1886. The
last composer is Vladimir Horowitz, he was a American pianist. He was recognized as
the greatest piano virtuoso of the 20th Century. His mother gave him piano lessons at a
young age. His father changed his birth year to 1904 so he could avoid military
service so he could protect his hands. Vladimir was known for his technique and
ability to create excitement in his music. Horowitz performed different types of music
like concertos. He died of a heart attack in 1989. All of those pieces from the different
composers I mentioned were really good and i enjoyed the concert a lot, because
Stephen Bues is a great pianist and he did a awesome job. My favorite piece would
have to be Fur Alina because of how he made something so short sound so beautiful.
My least favorite piece will have to be Chaconne in D Minor because of the notes, they
were low and depressing. The information that I learned in class has helped me be able
to actually put vocabulary words with the pieces that he played, it helped me understand
what was going on. If I had to attend another concert I would definitely go just
Significant Role In The Play Antigone
Play: Antigone
Question: Which minor character had the most significant role in the play Antigone?
Jean Anouilh s play Antigone is a tragedy inspired by Greek mythology and the play of
the same name(Antigone, by Sophocles) from the fifth century B.C. The play Antigone
tells the story of a brave girl (one of Oedipus s daughters) who stands up against the law
in order to honor her brother.
The play had many important characters without which the meaning would be
incomplete. However ,there were many minor characters that completed the play and
aided the reader s understanding which leads us to the question of Which minor character
had the most significant role? Minor characters are effective in revealing theme ,
developing plot and developing characters. In my opinion I think the ... Show more

O think, Antigone ;we are women; it is not for us to fight against men ; our ruler are
stronger than we are , Ismene is trying to convince Antigone that the men have more
power and that they are to obey . I feel like if Ismene wasn t there the story might have
lost interest from its readers as she came up again before Creon sent Antigone to death
and she has the sister bond with Antigone even though she was against Antigone s idea of
burying polynices but now she is supporting her and she doesn t want her to die. Oh,
forgive me Antigone. I ve come back . I ll go with you know. (Antigone ,line 34 , page
59) Here she is trying to ask forgiveness from her sister because she wasn t their when
Antigone needed help in burying polynices. Creon ! If you kill her, you ll have to kill
me, too. I was with her. I helped her bury Polynices. In this she is risking her life into
death and she is trying to take the blame on her even though she wasn t there to bury
polynices with Antigone but she is risking her life for her, she doesn t want Antigone to
die because no matter what she is still her sister and she will still try to protect
Miranda July Identity
English Final Essay: Identity
In our contemporary, we have the choice and the luxury to decide who and what we
want to be. Identity is a topic of great importance in some of our stories. Although, it is
represented in a different way. So we get to ask ourselves: Can we actually create our
own roles and identity? First, it is present in Nilda by Junot Diaz. Secondly, it appears in
Something That Needs Nothing by Miranda July. Lastly, misidentification is found in
Amber Sweet by Adrian Tomine.
In the first place, we can see that the topic of identity is present in the story Nilda in
Junot Diaz s book This is How You Lose Her , more precisely in the relationship
between Rafa and Yunior. We can see that Yunior is following Rafa s steps.... Show more

The main character is a woman that is mistaken for Amber Sweet who is a really
famous porn star that looks exactly like her. Nowadays, people that look like they re the
same person but in fact they don t even know each other are called doppelgängers. So
we can say that the protagonist is Amber Sweet s doppelganger. Throughout the story,
we see that the young lady s life has been affected by this resemblance. When walking
around, she always hears people whispering and giving her weird looks or just
laughing. Moreover, this resemblance also affected her dating life. The men she dates
or has a relationship with, either imagine having a relationship with Amber Sweet and
picture the porn star instead of the protagonist, or just compare her to the celebrity.
The narrator feels very insecure about herself and doesn t know how to react as we
can see in the beginning of the story: It was just little things like people looking at me
funny or whispering when I walked by, but it was too much for me to ignore. It got to
the point where I couldn t set foot on campus without feeling completely self
conscious .(30) She keeps on struggling with this, even after moving and changing
schools, trying to be herself. But this does not help and her identity is still always
mistaken for Amber Sweet, who the narrator really isn t a big fan of but ends up liking
her when they finally meet after she cut her hair. In the story we can see that the
protagonist s identity has been chosen for her and has been forced upon her. She really
does not have the choice to be what or who she really wants to
Installing A Home Security System
As a former Alarm Dispatcher with seven years of experience, I have a lot of
knowledge regarding alarm systems. You may be wondering whether or not a burglar
alarm system is right for you. Here are some things to keep in mind: A burglar alarm
system on a business will lower your insurance rates and will alert you any time the
alarm sounds. There are also additional benefits of alarm systems, such as schedules.
Schedules are set by you, usually within business hours. Whenever the system is not
disarmed in the morning or not armed at night, the alarm company will call to let you
know. This ensures that your business is open on time and the alarm system is armed
each night. And each time someone disarms the system outside of those hours, the...

some simple home security measures you can implement today that will not break the

that are left wide open, or just partially cracked open. Unless you are inside the garage
and can see what is going on around you, it is never a good idea to leave the garage
open, as it is an open invitation for thieves to just walk right into your home without
having to break a window. Bar Entry through Sliding Glass Doors If you have sliding
glass doors that lead out onto the patio or the back garden, this could be used as an
entry point by burglars to enter your home. Keep sliding glass doors securely locked at
all times and place a patio door security bar across the bottom of the sliding glass doors

cost more than a patio door security bar, but it can give you peace of mind from
intruders. You can find a deadbolt for as little as $50 to over $100, depending on your
