2. In each of the figure, discuss briefly the mathematics behind such patterns.
In first figure, the mathematics behind such pattern is geometry, because it used the hexagonal shape.
The bees used hexagonal shape to have or make honeycomb with more spaces.
While, in the second figure, the mathematics behind such pattern is symmetry, because it is said that
pattern at the back of turtles indicates its bilateral symmetric anatomy.
And, in the third figure which is snowflake, I think the mathematics behind this is also symmetry. For
example, when you cut this eight-pointed snowflake in the middle, both halves of the snowflake will be equal.
TRUE/ FALSE
TRUE 3. The principal vanishing point of the painting is so far away that it cannot be seen in the painting
TRUE 4. In drawing a flat desert, one must apply perspectivity.
TRUE 5. In a painting of train tracks that run perpendicular to the canvas, the principal vanishing
point is the place in the painting where the two rails meet.
Your instructor wants near objects to look nearby and far objects to look far away in your drawing.
Make your own illustration using the concept of perspectivity.
Draw a square. Determine all the rotational and reflection symmetries present in the figure. Briefly
explain your answer.
