knowledge in GPS Survey to collect data, prepare topography map and daily, weekly, monthly, quarter, and
annual reports, submitting deliverable on time, monitoring of project during implementation, and ensuring a

 Preformed the geo-spatial analysis performed to support a systematic analytical approach to humanitarian coordination and

 Coordinate and provide GIS-related technical support for partners and related field authorities.
 Overall support to all RRAA Team/Unit members based on partners’ needs in close coordination with the line manager.

Responsibility
 Contribute to develop Geographic Information System (GIS) Maps, topographical maps, land cover, and slope maps for
eastern region.
 Help the Senior officer to prepare the work plan and determine the resources needed to implement the plan.
 Execute a Quick Survey at project sites with community leaders to produce a schematic site survey, environmental checklist,
and a list of all works to be implemented by the subproject, with GPS coordinates, pictures, description, reference number
and observations.
 Engage with field staff walkthrough proposed area to collect the technical inputs on topographic, cross-sectional, and
longitudinal surveys of the proposed project.
 Organize the photographs of the job site so that they are labeled with captions and are geographically referenced with GPS
coordinates.
 Assist the Senior Officer to prepare the Work Plan and Detailed Budget.
 Engage laborers from local communities to carry out the project works.
 Work with shuras and residents, government officials and other community leaders to address any conflicts or social issues
that may arise as a result of the work DAI is carrying out.
 Take steps to engage women, unemployed youths, IDPs, landless laborers and people from other vulnerable groups in the
project.
 Take photographs and record GPS coordinates for all the works implemented by the project.
 Coordinate with and assist implementation team to improve quality of activities and conduct joint site visit to make sure that
the project implementation is according to the standards, project technical specification, and site condition.
