MAIN ENTRANCE AREA

Consisting of the main entrance for
visitors and a welcoming reception.
Its followed by a vast and spacious
lobby to host both employee and visitor
traffic. The ATMs are strategically
placed in this area to ensure convenient
and prompt accessibility for visitors. FIG. 1

Desk Length can vary from 3-6m long depending on the scale of the
Bank.

WAITING AREA
Immediately following the lobby, there is
a general waiting area for all visitors.
There is also a VIP area that is tailored to
cater to the needs of VIP visitors,
offering an exclusive and comfortable
environment for their convenience and

LOUNGE
The employee lounge serves as a
dedicated space for relaxation and
breaks, fostering a comfortable
environment for the bank employees.
Connected seamlessly to the lounge is
the pantry, providing a convenient and
accessible area for employees to utilize FIG. 3

during their breaks, enhancing their overall well-being and work experience.

MEETING AREAS
The meeting area comprises a meeting room, training room, and
auditorium, providing a versatile space for team meetings, training
sessions, and presentations, catering to diverse needs.

The recreational area includes the
dining area, kitchen, and cafe,

BACK OFFICE AREA

The back office area is a comprehensive zone encompassing various
functional spaces, including individual back offices, a secure server
room, a dedicated mail room, and an organized archive. This integrated
setup ensures streamlined operations, efficient data management, and
systematic handling of mail and documents, contributing to the overall
productivity and functionality of the bank's back-office operations.

 ACCESS AND CAR PARKING
One space for each 250 s.f. of gross floor area for
the first 5,000 s.f. and one space for each 350 s.f.
thereafter. The Garage (multi-story car park)
Regulations require a minimum width for parking
spaces of 2.50 m
The total space requirement per workstation varies
between 23 and 45 m2 , depending on
organizational and status requirements. This
includes 2.6 m2 car parking area in the basement,
which is not included in the floor to space ratio. The FIG. 27

tendency has been increasing since the 1970s.
