CURRICULUM GUIDES

The Bureau of Curriculum Development will conduct a Workshop on the Validation of Grades 4
to 6 Curriculum Guides from May 16-20, 2022 at El Cielito Hotel, Sta. Rosa Laguna.
It aims to:
a. vet the key stage standards, grade level standards, content standards, and performance
standards per quarter including the learning competencies for the first key stage; and
b. ensure spiral progression and developmental appropriateness.
In this light, select regional supervisors, division supervisors, school heads, MTs and teachers
are requested to participate in this activity as indicated in Enclosure1.

Board and lodging, supplies, materials and travel expenses of the participants shall be charged
against 2022 BEC Continuing Funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing procedures.

Should the transportation expenses of participants exceed the downloaded funds to their
division, the remaining expenses shall be charged against local funds.

All participants are expected to be at the venue before 8:00 AM on May 16 Monday. The
attendees are likewise requested to stay until check out time on May 20, 2022 Friday. Please
take note that first meal is breakfast on May 16, and last meal is lunch on May 20, 2022. All
concerned are required to bring laptops, extension cord, and curriculum guides per learning
area.
