Abstract
students on their choice of track strand of XiJEN Senior High School SY. 2022-2023.
This paper aims to identify the significance factors that affects Grade 11 students in
choosing their strand. To answer this question, the researchers made use of
mean formula and 5-Point Likert Scale. It was found that the personal interest factor
and family influence factor were significant on the preference of Grade 11 students on
their choice of track strand. On the other hand, Grade 11 students have a neutral
viewpoint on the significance of peer influence and job opportunities factor on their
preference of track strand. This paper may serve as a storehouse of knowledge about
factors that can influence an individual’s career choice and can be used as further
reference material for students who will conduct similar or nearly similar research.
