RESOLUTION FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF SCHOOL GOVERNANCE

COUNCIL (SGC) OF AMBAGUIO HIGH SCHOOL: AND SUBMISSION OF THE
ORGANIZED SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL: THE LIST AND
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE FOR ITS APPROVAL.

WHEREAS, in compliance to the guidelines and requirements of the

Establishment of SGC as per DepED Order No.26, s.2022- Implementing
Guidelines on the Establishment of School Governance Council, a Special
Meeting was conducted for the organization, election, and designation of officers
and members of the SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL (SGC) of AMBAGUIO
HIGH SCHOOL, Poblacion, Ambaguio, 3701 Nueva Vizcaya on October 6, 2023 @
9:00-12:00 am. at Home Economics Building;

WHEREAS, the organized SGC is expected to perform the following duties
and responsibilities to wit: (Copy from DO 26, 2023)

Designation/Position Roles & Responsibilities

co-lead the SGC in developing / identifying

Designated Co- programs, projects and activities that support
Chairperson and/or address school improvement;
prepare agenda of meetings in consultation with the
Elected Co-Chairperson and other council
members;
call and preside over meetings of the SGC, in the
absence of the Elected Co-Chairperson;
sign communications, notice of meetings, and other
documents of the SGC;
ascertain that in all meetings, a quorum is met;
attend meetings of the SGC and cast a vote on
matters that need consensus decision;
initiate and respond to all communications which
are for the attention of the Council;
make himself/herself available to the wider school
community for consultation and information
sharing;
discuss with the School Head the direction of the
SGC;
represent the SGC in his/her official capacity as
Designated Co-Chairperson on occasions, events,
and affairs where representation is needed;
exercise general supervision over all activities
relative to the functions of the Council;
delegate other functions when necessar5r; and
perform other functions and duties relative to the
functions of the Council.

prepare quarterly reports of the activities of the
SGC to the school stakeholders and publish them
on the school's Transparency Board and SRC which
shall also serve as references to the development of
the semi-annual report to be submitted to the SDO;
lead the preparation of quarterly reports of SGC
activities for publication in the school's
Transparency Board and SRC;
issue notice of meetings to all members of the SGC
at least a week before the scheduled time;
attend meetings of the SGC and cast a vote on
matters that need consensus decision;
provide all council members legible copies of the
minutes of the meeting within two weeks after the
conduct of meeting; record the attendance of
council members during meetings; and
perform such other functions and duties assigned
by the Elected Co-Chairperson.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that the SGC Chairperson forwards
the list and Organizational Structure of SGC of AMBAGUIO HIGH SCHOOL to
ORLANDO E. MANUEL PhD, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent of
Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya for his perusal and approval;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a Copy of the approved Resolution be furnished

to the Office of the Municipal School Board and be posted in the School
Transparency Board for information and guidance;
