 Descriptions
Providing & fixing SS 304 fire hydrant Single landing valve with 80 mm N.B. flanged inlet, SS
Spindle controlled 63 mm dia female instantaneous outlet type. SS coupling, blank cap,
chain, twist release type lug & all accessories Conforming to IS:5290. Including fixing with
anchor fastener and flanged tapping from wet riser and provision for pressure gauge with
gun
metal ball valve complete as required.

Providing & fixing SS 304 fire Single Headed landing valve with 100 mm N.B. flanged inlet,
SS Spindle controlled 63 mm dia female instantaneous outlet type. SS coupling, blank cap,
chain, twist release type lug & all accessories Conforming to IS:5290. Including fixing with
anchor fastener and flanged tapping from wet riser and provision for pressure gauge with
gun metal ball valve complete as required.

Providing & fixing swinging type First Aid hose reel in red colour drum with 36 mts long and 25
mm dia heavy duty rubber water hose, SS Jet nozzle of dia. 8mm outlet X 20mm along with
20mm dia ball valve and heavy duty SS wire clamp complete with MS socket for tap-off,
drum and brackets (including painting) for fixing on wall with anchor fastener, bolts & nuts
conforming to IS:884-1985 (Reaffirmed 2000) complete as required. All supporting
arrangements / equipment's as per standard / as approved by consultant / Local CFO
requirement s.

Providing & fixing non-percolating rubber reinforced lined fire hose pipe (as per IS : 636) type-
A of 63 mm dia and length as described below. The hose shall be rated for burst pressure of
35.7 Kg/sqcm. Hose shall be complete with ISI marked SS male & female coupling (IS:903)
bound & rivetted to hose pipe with copper rivets & 1.5 mm copper wire (Location : Internal
fire hydrant) All supporting arrangements / Equipment's as per standard / as approved by
consultant / Local CFO requirement s.

Providing & fixing controlled percolation fire hose pipe (as per IS:8423) of 63 mm dia and 15
meter length rated for burst pressure of 35.7 Kg/sqcm. The hose shall be tested for flame
resistance test in accordance to IS:8423. Hose shall be complete with ISI marked SS male &
female coupling (IS:903) bound & riveted to hose pipe with copper rivets & 1.5 mm copper
wire (Location : External fire hydrant) All supporting arrangements / equipment's as per
standard / as approved by consultant / Local CFO requirement s.
Providing and Fixing 63 mm dia instantaneous pattern branch short gunmetal pipe,
20 mm dia nozzle conforming to IS 903, suitable for inter connection to hose pipe
coupling complete as required.

Providing and fixing standard fireman's axe with heavy rubber handle.
Providing and fixing weather proof lockable cabinet of size not less than 0.75 x 0.60 x 0.25
mtr made out of MS sheet of 18 Gauge thickness having central opening and 4 mm thick
glazed glass doors (Two nos.) suitably marked on the outside with the letters "FIRE HOSE"
including necessary locking arrangement and shall be painted with one coat of primer and
two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade. All supporting arrangements /
equipment's as per standard / as approved by consultant / Local CFO requirement s.

The cabinet shall be suitable to accommodate 2 nos. 15 mtr long Hose pipe & 2 Nos branch
pipe nozzle. It shall be mounted on raised Brick platform complete as required. ( for internal )

(Cost shall be inclusive of providing break glass box containing key for the cabinet along with
hammer).

Providing and fixing weather proof lockable cabinet of size not less than 0.75 x 0.60 x 0.25
mtr made out of MS sheet of 18 Gauge thickness having central opening and 4 mm thick
glazed glass doors (Two nos.) suitably marked on the outside with the letters "FIRE HOSE"
including necessary locking arrangement and shall be painted with one coat of primer and

Providing & fixing gunmetal fire brigade 2 way inlet connection consisting of 2 no. 63 mm.
dia. instantaneous type male couplings with built in check valves, 1 no. 100 mm. dia. butterfly
valve( IS 139095/BS 5155 with flange type CI Butterfly valve confirming to IS 139095/BS 5155
of following pressure class(PN16) with flanges,nutbolts,gasket other spares, necessary pad
locking arrangements complete and including indicator to open and shut position as per fire
practice etc.) & 1 no. 100mm NRV(Swing type cast iron dual plate non return valve(IS 5312)
with EPDM lining ductile iron disc & stainless steel spring(PN16) & 100 mm. dia. flanged outlet
complete with bolts,nuts and rubber insertions and as per IS 904-1963

Providing & fixing gunmetal fire brigade 4 way inlet connection consisting of 4 no. 63 mm.
dia. instantaneous type male couplings with built in check valves, 1 no. 150 mm. dia. butterfly
valve( IS 139095/BS 5155 with flange type CI Butterfly valve confirming to IS 139095/BS 5155
of following pressure class(PN16) with flanges,nutbolts,gasket other spares, necessary pad
locking arrangements complete and including indicator to open and shut position as per fire
practice etc.) & 1 no. 150mm NRV(Swing type cast iron dual plate non return valve(IS 5312)
with EPDM lining ductile iron disc & stainless steel spring(PN16) & 150 mm. dia. flanged outlet
complete with bolts,nuts and rubber insertions and as per IS 904-1963

Providing and fixing SS 304 Siamese breaching connection with 4 Nos. 63 mm dia
instantaneous type female couplings as tank fill connection with blank caps fixed to 150 mm
dia pipe with 1 No. 150 mm dia Sluice valve and G.I/M.S pipe to connect Fire water static
storage tanks.

Designing, providing and fixing Orifice plate made out of stainless steel plate (thickness as per
specification) for following size of pipe to reduce pressure upto 3.5 Kg/sqcm complete in all
respects. (Orifice plates of suitable design shall be provided in the landing valves, where
necessary, to limit the operating pressures within 5.5 kg/cm2.Contractor shall produce
calculations and got approved from Consultant/Project Manager. Contractor shall fabricate
orifice plate based on the approved calculation).
