 “History is the study of changes over time, and it covers all aspects of
human society.”

 “History, the discipline that studies the chronological record of


events( as affecting a nation or people) based on a critical examination of
source martials and usually presenting an explanation of their causes.”-

 “ Historian define history as the study of past events, how they


change, and how they influence current and future events.”

Course Learning Outcome (CLO): (at the end of the
course, students will be able to do
CLO1 Recall the main events of the history of Bangladesh since the
pre-historic time to the emergence of Bangladesh and
familiarize the students with the origin as well as the
development of Bengali Language.

CLO2 Explain the causes and effects of the major socio-economic,


political and cultural changes of Bangladesh.
