F.1 Computer Literacy PowerPoint Slides Project


The project consists of two parts: PowerPoint Slides and Presentation

PowerPoint Slides:
1. Students should create PowerPoint Slides from one of the following topics.
A. Good practices on web browsing and Internet activities.
B. Good practices on receiving, compiling or forwarding information through different
channels.
2. The content must be written in English.
3. The idea/concept of the project must be positive.
4. There should be at least 8 slides.
5. The content should include
• the introduction and information of the topic
• the daily life examples
• some statistic chart / table about the topic
• the importance/consequence in your studies
• your reflection and conclusion
6. Multimedia such as pictures, videos, animation are highly recommended in the slides
7. You should have the credits at the end of the slides for all resources
8. Your PowerPoint Slides and script should be submitted on or before 8:00a.m. of

Marks will be deducted for late submission and no amendment can be made after deadline.

1. Presentation will be carries out at cycle 16 to 17.

2. Time limit: 5 minutes for presentation, 1 minute for Question and Answer session.
3. Your presentation should be conducted in English.
4. Your presentation should focus on how you design your PowerPoint Slides but not on the
content.
5. You should:
● Show your findings in an organized way.
● Produce a comprehensive, concise, precise and logical description of the design of the
PowerPoint Slides.
● Justify the design based on the concepts learnt in the subject.
● Highlight the special features of the design.

Marking Scheme:

PowerPoint Slides (focus on both the content and design) 20%


Presentation 18%
Q&A 2%

It will carry 40% of marks of Computer Literacy in the 2nd term.

Bonus point will be given to the students who asked good questions.
