Health Check-Up Report 2MW

1. A health check was performed on a 550MW steam turbine generator unit from 1980 at The Kishan Co-operative Sugar Factory Ltd. 2. The check found oil leakages from the gear wheel, alternator pedestal, and mechanical governor. Bearings for the rotor, pinion, gearwheel, and alternator were recommended as replacement spares. 3. An action plan was needed to address the problems, and running parameters would need strict monitoring going forward.
