The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bukidnon Provincial Field Office
(BukPFO) reported that 375 workers have successfully resolved their labor disputes
through SEnA. The initiative has proven to be a valuable resource in providing a
swift, impartial, cost-effective, and accessible mechanism for settling conflicts
between employees and employers.
"The success of the SEnA underscores DOLE's commitment to creating a fair and
efficient platform for resolving labor disputes," said DOLE BukPFO Provincial
Director Raul Valmores.
Valmores also stressed that the achievement not only reflects the effectiveness of
the program but also the dedication of all parties involved in ensuring that the
workers are treated fairly and justly.
In a turn of events, a construction worker, whose life was mired in uncertainty due to
a protracted labor dispute, is expressing gratitude for successfully resolving his case
through the SEnA.
The construction worker, “Toto”, whose name was hidden due to confidentiality, had

to an already demanding job. Faced with these challenges, he sought assistance
from DOLE's SENA.
"Daku ang akong pasalamat sa tabang nga akong nadawat gikan sa DOLE. Kini nga
experience wala lang nakasulbad sa akong problema sa pinansyal apan nakapabalik
usab sa akong pagtuo sa gobyerno," Toto expressed with relief.
[I am immensely grateful for the help I received from DOLE. This experience has not
only resolved my financial worries but has also restored my faith in the system.]
The success of Toto's case underscores the importance of accessible and efficient
mechanisms for addressing labor disputes. DOLE's commitment to providing a swift
resolution through SENA has proven beneficial for workers like Toto, fostering a
sense of justice and reinforcing the agency's role as a guardian of labor rights.
The SEnA has become an essential tool in promoting industrial peace and fostering
positive employer-employee relationships. By offering a streamlined and accessible
resolution process, it contributes to a harmonious working environment and supports
the overall well-being of both employers and workers.
DOLE BukPFO reminds workers to bravely express their labor-related problems and
maximize the programs and services of the Department.
