LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

To the Admissions Committee,

I am writing this letter to vouch for Ameesha, with whom I have been acquainted for four years, beginning during her
college years. Throughout our connection, I have witnessed her involved in various aspects, enabling me to discern her
journey in the academic path. I have assisted her during an academic project in college. I have also taught her the
subject microprocessor interfacing, and been her mentor in the VLSI lab.
Ameesha has displayed remarkable academic acumen and resilience throughout her college experience. Notably,
during her third semester, she confronted a significant health challenge in the form of Dengue fever, which impeded
her ability to attend end-term examinations in three subjects. Overcoming this setback required immense dedication
and determination. Ameesha not only prepared well in advance but sought additional resources to deepen her
understanding of the subject matter. Her unwavering commitment led her to achieve a commendable overall CGPA of
9.03 for the third year, positioning her in the top 2% of the class. This perseverance is a testament to her ability to excel
in adversity.
Additionally, Ameesha has consistently exhibited strong team player qualities and leadership skills. As the team leader
for an academic project in Natural Language Processing Using Python, she took on the responsibility of code
development and prototyping. Recognizing her teammates' varying proficiency levels in Python, she adeptly delegated
tasks to ensure no one felt overwhelmed. Furthermore, Ameesha initiated regular debriefing sessions with her team to
maintain transparent communication and foster a deeper understanding of the project's progress and potential changes.
This approach resulted in completing the project three weeks ahead of schedule and allowed for thorough optimization.
Her adaptability and effective teamwork are evident in this accomplishment.
Lastly, Ameesha is known for her innovative thinking and ability to contribute to classroom learning through engaging
discussions. Her unique ideas have enriched class discussions and created a dynamic learning environment. Ameesha
maintains a positive rapport with teachers and fellow students in her department, fostering a collaborative and
productive academic atmosphere. Her enthusiastic approach to learning and her willingness to share her insights make
her a valuable addition to any classroom. While Ameesha's leadership and delegation skills are commendable, there is a
potential weakness in her tendency to take on a significant workload. In the aforementioned project, she initially
assumed substantial responsibilities, which could have led to challenges in debugging and code maintenance. However,
she recognized this and adapted her approach by implementing debriefing sessions with her team. This experience was
a valuable lesson in delegation and time management, and she successfully navigated this issue.
In summary, Ameesha is a resilient, academically accomplished, and innovative student with valuable leadership and
teamwork skills. Her capacity to adapt and learn from her experiences, as demonstrated by her handling of challenges
in the past, positions her as a promising candidate.

Sincerely,
Dr. Vikas Mahor
