This article provides instructions that business users (end users) can use to install Microsoft
Copilot for Finance without the help of a tenant administrator.

This is a preview feature. It is subject to the preview supplemental terms of


use .
Preview features aren't meant for production use and may have restricted
functionality. These features are available before an official release so that
customers can get early access and provide feedback.

To successfully install Copilot for Finance, business users must have privileges that allow
them to install applications. If you encounter any difficulty during the installation process
or when you try to connect to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, consult your
administrator.
Business users can do the installation in AppSource .

Install the Copilot for Finance for Outlook add-


in from AppSource
To install the Copilot for Finance for Outlook add-in from AppSource, follow these steps.
1. Sign in to AppSource .
2. In the Search field, search for Copilot for Finance.
3. In the search results, select Copilot for Finance for Outlook, and then select Get it
now.
4. In the Confirm your details to continue window, review the information, and then
select Get it Now.
5. You receive the following prompt: "Would you like to install Copilot for Finance for
Microsoft Outlook (Preview)?" Select Continue to complete the installation. A
"Successfully added to your account" message and a green check mark indicate that
installation was successful.
6. Select Open in Outlook Web to open Copilot for Finance for Outlook.

The add-in might take up to six hours to appear in Outlook.


The app is also installed in the Outlook desktop application.

Install the Copilot for Finance for Excel add-in


from AppSource
1. Sign in to AppSource .
2. In the Search field, search for Copilot for Finance.
3. In the search results, select Copilot for Finance for Excel, and then select Get it now.
4. In the Confirm your details to continue window, review the information, and then
select Get it Now.
5. You receive the following prompt: "Would you like to install Copilot for Finance for
Microsoft Excel (Preview)?" Select Continue to complete the installation. A
"Successfully added to your account" and a green check mark indicate that
installation was successful.
6. Select Open in Excel to open Copilot for Finance for Excel.

７ Note

The add-in might take up to six hours to appear in Excel.

The app is also installed in the Excel desktop application.
