Quiz MID-TERM EXAM MAJOR TEST
Quiz 1 (10 Marks), in February 35 Marks 45 Marks

Quiz 2 (10 Marks), in April

Questions from Physical Questions from Inorganic
Quiz date and syllabus will be and Inorganic Parts and Organic parts
announced before the quiz.

Grading Policy
• Students are expected to follow the institute attendance rules/norms. You are expected to attend all the lectures and
tutorials except for health-related issues (where a medical certificate issued by IITD hospital should be provided).
You may even get an “F” grade for poor attendance. Providing fake medical certificates may get an “F” grade.

• No re-quiz will be conducted. Pro-rating based on average marks acquired in other evaluations (Mid-Term + Major)
at the end of the semester will be done for the deserving cases.

• Re-Midterm/Re-Major will be conducted for deserving candidates. The syllabus for the Re-Midterm would be the
complete contents taught in the course. It may be conducted one day after the last class day. Your request for Re-
Major through the ERP portal must finally be approved by the Dean (Academics).

Grading Policy
• Doubts in the graded exam papers should be cleared within the provided time frame. If you do not utilize this
opportunity within the time frame, no such chance will be offered at the later date and the marks will be frozen.

• If found cheating during the exam, an “F” grade will be awarded. This rule applies to any form of cheating that
you may do with course-related issues especially marking proxy attendance in the lectures and tutorials.
