Brief History of BMS Institutions

In the history of Karnataka, the name of Late Businayana Sri. B. S. Narayan, the dynamic and enterprising son of the
Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah (BMS) occupies a prominent founder, took over the reins of the college after the demise

BMS EDUCATIONAL TRUST (BMSET)


BMS group of Institutions are managed by B. M. Sreenivasaiah Educational Trust (BMSET) comprising of five
trustee members constituting Council of Trustees.
The Chairman of BMS Educational Trust is Dr. B. S. Ragini Narayan, she is also the Donor Trustee and Member
Secretary. She is the Chairperson of BMS College for Women and BMS Evening College of Arts and Commerce.
Dr. P Dayananda Pai is Life Trustee at BMS Educational Trust. He is Chairman for BMS College of Engineering
and BMS College of Architecture; The other Trustees are Sri Aviram Sharma, Chairman, BMS College of
Commerce and Management, and Sri Ravi Venkatesham, Trustee BMSET and Chairman, BMS School of
Architecture. Chairman BMS College of Law and Chairman BMS Institute of Technology and Management.
Additionally, one Trustee Member is nominated by Government of Karnataka.

B.M.S. College of Commerce & Management (BMSCCM) is run under the aegis of BMS Educational Trust, Bengaluru. The
college is affiliated to Bengaluru City University and offers programs as per the prescribed syllabus of the university. BMSCCM
is centrally located in the verdant green environs of V.V Puram, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. The college offers under graduate
courses in Commerce, Management, Computer Applications and Executive Management Program(Weekend) for working
professionals.
Modern Air-conditioned ICT enabled classrooms, State of art computer labs, sports, administrative block, acoustically
modelled seminar hall, library and information centre in the building exemplify an ideal atmosphere for an effective teaching
process with student-centric approach. World class faculty members provide a strong academic background to the students.
The Corporate Communication department of the College offers compulsory Career Enhancement (Add on) courses over and
