Materials:  Reading Logbook

Components Duration Activities

Pre-Reading

 Learners gather their reading materials and find a


comfortable spot.
 Brief relaxation exercises for a reading mindset.
 Recap of the previous part of the reading material.

During Reading
Activity  Unlocking of Difficulties – have the learners get the
meaning of the unfamiliar words present in the
reading material using their dictionary.
 Setting standards and rules for silent reading.
 Present the Authors Biography in the class.
 Reading of material. (First Reading)
 Call on a model learners to read the story aloud.
(Second Reading)
