ACT 1

-Miriam (narrator).
In the house of Mr. Capulet (Mr. Edgar and Mrs. Rosa)
The father and mother talk about their daughter Odalis, about how she is grown up and should be
married by now.

♪ Everybody runs into the house ♪

-(minus Odalis), he stands face to face with Brayan and says

-Odalis. (Surprised) answers - “Really?
You would have told me since I was a kid, even though our families have their differences, I've
liked you for a long time.
-Brayan. (Surprised) Seriously Odalis? . . . we have to go; I'll take you with me and we'll be very
happy.

ACT 5

-Narrator. Odalis agrees and they run from there, going to the nearest church to be married.
-Brayan. (shouts) Father Juan, please marry us.
-Father Juan. When my son?
-Brayan. Right now, father
-Father Juan. But children I can't, besides their families hate each other, don't they?
-Brayan. Please father
-Father Juan. There's a son, so if that's what the two want,

ACT 6

-Narrator. Mrs. Rosa and Mr. Edgar realize that Odalis is not there and they run to the church as
(they were told that they saw their daughter Odalis and him Brayan there) . . .
At that moment they call the president (David Meléndez) to order his father not to marry them.
-President David. He gets to the church first, orders his father not to marry them, and at that point
they try to pressure Brayan for killing Theobald,

-Odalis. President, you can't take Brayan, he's the love of my life.
-nana. comes to the place shouting * leave Brayan he's not to blame for anything, (surprised), he
loves Odalis.
-President David. But how will he be innocent if there have been many tragedies between the two
families.

-Narrator.
♪ Mrs. Rosa and Mr. Edgar come - shouting at Odalis ♪ You can't marry him

* Odalis, unable to do anything else, goes with them and they leave there sad, Brayan is left beaten,
falls to the floor and is badly injured.

ACT 7

-Narrator. Days go by and a call comes to Odalis' phone

* it was Mrs. Marta (Brayan's mom) telling Odalis

-Mrs. Marta. Odalis please trust my son, I know there are problems between your family and ours,
but I know the love of you two is real.
-Odalis. (Surely) I believe in your son ma'am, I promise you that he and I will be together and I
have a plan.

-Narrator. Odalis goes to talk to Father Juan and asks him to quote Brayan telling him that I
(Odalis) died of depression and I'm going to make everyone believe that that's what happened.
-Father Juan. It's madness, daughter.
-Odalis. I know, Father, but I love Brayan.

-Narrator. The next day Odalis fakes her death, her very sad parents take her to the cemetery and
father Juan pretends to bury Odalis
…
when her fathers left Odalis from there, they banished her

*Brayan arrives at the cemetery and sees that Odalis is still alive and runs to embrace her with love

-Brayan. Odalis, love I thought I'd lose you forever

-Odalis. I love too, but we can finally be together

-Narrator. At that moment Father Juan takes them home and just when they were about to give the
kiss of true love, Alejandro arrives and shoots Brayan. . . .

*Brayan dies at that moment.

Father John takes Odalis and they try to escape, but Alexander shoots them saying,
-Alejandro. they will never be happy “at least not here”
Odalis dies and the father is wounded. . .

ACT 8

Father Juan comes to Mrs. Rosa's house and tells them everything that happened. . .
They call Mrs. Marta and go straight to the cemetery and bury them together. . . saying

-Mrs. Rosa. (Crying) Daughter, they say that people do not die for love, but you show us that if it is
possible. . .

-Mrs. Marta. (Crying) Son rest in peace and take care of Odalis please.

-Narrator. At that moment the families decide to make amends, and to reach peace by bringing
together two families separated by the years.
