A navigator panel typically provides a user-friendly interface to navigate and manage files,
documents, projects, or other elements within software applications, offering quick access and
organization features.

Undoing Steps Using History Panel


2. Explain the steps on undoing unwanted actions using the history panel
Open history panel, select point before unwanted action, click "Undo," review changes,
repeat if necessary, and save.

1. Research the functionalities of layer and Basic layer commands.


Layers in graphic design offer organization, isolation, and control. Basic commands include
creating, deleting, duplicating layers, adjusting visibility, opacity, stacking order, and
applying styles.

2. Explain the steps n the following:

-Converting a background into a layer


Double-click background in the layers panel, or choose layer > new > layer from background

-Converting a layer into a background


Select a layer in the layers panel.
Choose layer > new > background from layer

-Creating a new layer with effects from another layer

Select the existing layer in the layers panel


Drag the layer to create a new layer button at the buttom of the layer panel. The newly created
layer contains all the effects of the existing one

-Convert a selection into a new layer


Make a selection
Do one of the following;
A choose layer > new > layer via copy to copy the selection
B choose layer > new > layer via cut to cut the selection and paste it into a new layer

-Duplicate layers
You can duplicate layers within an image ir into another or a new image

-Group and ungroup layers


Select multiple layers in the layers panel

Do one of the following;

A choose layer >group layers.

B alt-drag layers to the folder icon at the bottom of the layers panel to the group
the layers.

-adding layers to a group

Do one of the following

A select the group in the layers panel and click the create a new layer button

B drag a layer to the group folder.

C drag a group folder into another group folder. The group and all of its layer
move.

D drag an existing group to the new group button.
