This Question Paper consists of three sections A, B and C.
Candidates are required to attempt all questions from Section A and all questions EITHER
from Section B OR Section C.

questions of four marks each and two questions of six marks each.
Section B: Internal choice has been provided in one question of two marks and
one question of four marks.
Section C: Internal choice has been provided in one question of two marks and
one question of four marks.

(i) To supplement daily diet, a person wishes to take X and Y tablets. The contents (in
milligrams per tablet) of iron, calcium and vitamins in X and Y are given as below:

minimum cost? Formulate LPP and solve graphically.

OR
(ii) A company manufacturers two types of sweaters type A and type B. It costs ₹360 to
make a type A sweater and ₹120 to make a type B sweater. The company can make
atmost 300 sweaters and spend atmost ₹72000 a day. The number of sweaters of type B
cannot exceed the number of sweaters of type A by more than100. The company makes
a profit of ₹200 for each sweater of type A and ₹120 for every sweater of type B.
Formulate LPP and solve graphically.
